Toulston Music is a live music management company providing professional musicians for weddings, corporate events, charity functions, and private parties. Run by industry professionals who work daily in artist management and commercial session fixing, we bring studio-grade precision and concert-standard performance to private and corporate events.
Our roster consists of active, working musicians who spend their lives performing in concert halls and tracking for film and television, bringing that same focus and quality to your celebration.
Our Lineups and Services
We manage a select group of musicians and can assemble several distinct configurations depending on the style, size, and acoustic requirements of your venue:
- String Quartets & Soloists: We provide traditional acoustic string quartets, trios, and duos playing everything from classical repertoire to modern pop arrangements. We also offer solo acoustic violinists and cellists, alongside contemporary electric violin and live-looping cello setups for high-energy sets.
- Jazz Bands & Ensembles: Our jazz roster ranges from understated acoustic duos and trios for drinks receptions and dinners up to full vocal swing bands for evening dancing. Repertoire covers traditional swing, the Great American Songbook, cool jazz, and modern chart tracks rearranged into jazz styles.
- Solo Pianists & Harpists: Ideal for wedding ceremonies, cocktail hours, or background music. Our pianists can perform on your venue’s existing acoustic piano or travel fully self-contained with high-tier digital stage setups that replicate the rich sound of a grand piano perfectly.
What Makes Us Unique
- Custom Repertoire & Arrangements: If you have a specific song that is meaningful to you for a key moment—such as walking down the aisle or a first dance—and it isn't in our extensive library, our team will write a custom arrangement scored specifically for the musicians you have booked.
- In-House Production Management: Booking live music shouldn't be a logistical headache. We handle the entire process internally. Our management team coordinates directly with your wedding planner or venue coordinator, manages the schedule on the day, and provides all necessary high-quality PA sound systems and equipment.
- Straightforward Planning: We don't hide behind agency fluff or automated systems. You deal directly with a practical, experienced team that ensures all public liability insurance (PLI) and equipment safety certificates (PAT) are sorted and sent directly to your venue well ahead of time.
Our Locations and Travel
Operating from our primary hubs in London and Yorkshire (frequently working in Leeds and York), our musicians travel nationwide to perform at leading venues.
We maintain a regular schedule managing events across Manchester, Cheshire, Bristol, and the West Midlands (including Birmingham), as well as the historic cultural centres of Oxfordshire and Cambridgeshire. We also have a strong, competitive footprint across the Home Counties, regularly delivering live music programs to venues throughout Surrey, Berkshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Kent, and Essex.
