With decades of combined experience performing at weddings and events, we know exactly how to read a room, build the atmosphere and deliver the soundtrack to an unforgettable celebration. Our repertoire spans the 1950s right through to today's biggest hits. When you book The Snapbacks, everything is taken care of. We provide a fully self-contained live show complete with professional sound, stage lighting and a DJ service between sets, making the entertainment for your event completely hassle-free.
All we need is two standard power sockets, a performance space of at least 4m x 3m and a dance floor ready for action!

The Snapbacks come fully self-contained with all the sound and lighting equipment necessary to put on a show for up to 400 guests. We perform at larger events too, but please contact us first if you're estimating an event larger than 400 guests. All we ask is:

We perform across the whole of the UK as standard. We can also facilitate overseas/destination weddings, as long as we have sufficient notice to make travel arrangements.
The standard Snapbacks show is two 1-hour sets of live music, with our free DJ service inbetween sets.
In our experience, this is the best combination to get people up dancing and keep the party going!
If needed, the performance can be split into three shorter sets, but you may find each set comes to an end just as people are reaching the dancefloor.
Don't worry, we've got it covered. We DJ for free in between performances, but we can also extend our DJ service later into the night if you need it.
To set up our fully self-contained show, it takes approximately 90 minutes from accessing the space to being ready to perform.
It is important to note this time cannot be shortened, even if things are running late. The Snapbacks are a premier live band with pro-level sound and lighting equipment. This must be set up and configured for each individual venue to ensure only the highest quality experience for your guests.
Nonetheless, we always work closely with venues and couples to make the setup process as quick and efficient as possible. We also offer the option of arriving earlier in the day to set up if you think there may be a clash with another element of your wedding.
Not at all. We have extensive experience playing at venues with sound limiters...they have simply become a fact of live music in many places.
If you have booked a venue with a sound limiter, we will need the technical details in advance of your event. If you're not sure of these, we are happy to liaise with the venue on your behalf to get the relevant information.
As funk/soul/Motown obsessives, we have a carefully-curated wardrobe packed full of 60s and 70s-inspired outfits for wearing on stage.
If your wedding has a specific dress code you would like us to adhere to, please let us know when booking. However, most people are used to the band dressing a little...differently to the guests!
We will need access to a minimum of two mains power sockets and a minimum space of 4 x 3 metres. Make sure you leave plenty of room for both the band and your guests, because they will definitely be getting their boogie on!

If you have a handful of funk-soul favourites that you just need to hear, then tell us and we will make sure we play them!
However, we usually advise against writing a whole setlist in advance of your event, as we need to be ready to 'read the room' on the night. We have built up decades of experience of live events and often adjust our sets on-the-fly to make sure we keep the dancefloor bouncing!
