The Players

We're four musicians from York, North Yorkshire. We came together to entertain audiences at wedding, parties, balls and any event that needs great live music. We don't believe that size is important - it's what you do that counts! As a four-piece band we can cater for smaller, more intimate, events where larger function bands might struggle because of size and cost. But we're equally at home on big stages! Our standard wedding package includes up to two hours of live music - no backing tracks, no sequencers, no harmonisers! We will keep your guests dancing all night. We can provide background music for your guests, and we're not afraid to turn it up as the party gets started! If you're a Spotify user we can customise these playlists for you ahead of your event. Alternatively, you can bring your own device and play your favourite music. You can request a special song for your big day. We will learn and perform your first dance, or another song that is special to you, to make your night unique. Our standard package is based on a 6pm arrival, with the band providing entertainment until midnight. We can offer earlier arrivals and later finishes, please contact us to discuss your requirements. Finally, we offer all of our clients a specific point of contact with the band, plus venue liaison. We will talk to your venue or planner to sort out all the practicalities of our performance, so you don't have to.
