The Oxford Beatles

We are a Beatles cover band. Please note the distinction between covers and tribute! We adore the music but we're not so enamoured with assuming the look/accents of individual Beatles ;) The best thing about the Beatles' catalogue is that it appeals to wedding guests of all ages. The songs are varied, well-known and span ballads like "Here, There and Everywhere" or "Michelle" to dancey numbers like "Twist and Shout" and "She Loves You". We have around 2 hours of material and are happy to tailor this according to the order of events on your wedding day. So, for example, you may want some quieter, acoustic numbers earlier in the evening (think "We Can Work It Out", "Michelle" and "All You Need Is Love"), progressing to danceable numbers like "She Loves You", "Twist and Shout" and "I Want To Hold Your Hand", ending up with "Hey Jude" as a final sing-along. We have played a number of weddings, university Balls (Wolfson College in July 2016 for example) and school proms to audiences of up to 300 people, so we understand the requirements of such an event. We have our own PAT-tested equipment, including a PA, which we would be willing to hire for your own music playlist if you require.
