What is your most memorable wedding?
In the summer of 2022 we performed out side in a small marquee in the gardens of a stately home. The couple had hung fairy lights all around the stage to light us up in the evening set after the wedding breakfast. It was magical and so thoughtful!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Jazzy, Classic, Sophisticated, Bespoke, Memorable
What about your business are you most proud of?
The band was created by vocalist Georgina Hart during lockdown. We feel proud for having the motivation to make something positive out of such a challenging time.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Putting a song suggestion note on your guests RSVP's and sending to the band- it's exciting for both your guests and us when we play someone's suggestion or favourite song.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
We offer free consultations for every event we are booked for from weddings to corporate functions we want to make sure we've picked planned the very best of our repertoire to make sure your listening to music you love! We're happy at this stage to take any song requests, this might be for your ceremony eg. aisle entrance, register signing and exit or for your first dance as husband and wife. Your consultation will be with lead vocalist and band manager Georgina who will take you through a series of questions. She will then go away and build your set lists which will be sent over for approval.
What is your number one floor-filler?
We love our original cover of Plan B's She Said it's an old classic that all our guests seem to remember and love.
Which band from the past would you most like to have been part of?
GEORGINA: I was born in the 90's so my band would have to be S-Club 7 - I was obsessed!
GRAEME: The Carpenters. To be part of the supporting group behind that incredible voice of Karen’s. Could her tragic early end have been avoided, probably not but it would have been worth the effort to try.
JOHN: Frank Zappa Band.
AMY: Herbie Hancock/the Headhunters
What is the soundtrack to your life?
GEORGINA: The Great Gatsby Soundtrack. I adore this soundtrack it's creative, daring, 1920's vintage themed. Unfortunately, my life isn't as glamorous as Daisy Buchanan's.
GRAEME: Pink Floyd’s Dark Side Of The Moon (blew me away the first time I heard it and it still does) or Sister Act, the musical soundtrack (so much fun to play).
JOHN: Buddy Rich - west side story suite.
AMY: We Like It Here by Snarky Puppy
