The Covered Function Band

The Covered were amazing! They played at my daughters 30th birthday and everyone said they made the night. People were up dancing right from the start and one of the guests even sang a couple of songs with the band. They were so accommodating and the playlist was perfect. They really seemed like they enjoyed themselves too which made it even better. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. Thank you John and co.

Firstly, thank you so much to The Covered, you were amazing! Thank you. xx The initial enquiry was promptly responded to. We traded a few e mails and a phone call, I got a sense from our first contact that you were approachable, friendly and passionate about delivering the best performance you could for your client. On the day of the event, you were present at the venue nearly 3 hours before the start of the performance. Whilst I struggled with helium balloons (I now know I could never be a children's entertainer!!) I could see and hear how much attention to detail went into the preparation for your performance. I think it's worth mentioning that your sound engineer, Ivan, is an absolute expert. I felt very lucky to see and hear your passion as all of the band prepared for the performance. During the course of the set up, I had the opportunity to catch up with individual band members. You were all so down to earth and friendly it really set the scene for an inclusive and friendly evening. Coming on to the performance. Stunning!! Incredible and stunning. The stage backdrop was very attractive and complimented the performance. The drums! Super fantastic to watch and hear. There was so much to see and hear from The Covered, all of it fantastic! One of the guests told me later, "The band were great, certainly the best I have heard for many years". To be fair, the compliments for your performance were non stop. If you are reading this review as a potential client, don't hesitate!! Book this amazing band before they get snapped up. Lastly, thank you John, and thanks to your band, your sound engineer and your backing vocalist. We had such a heart warming family celebration at which you were the front and centre. We had The Covered play at our wedding blessing this past week and they far exceeded our expectations. From enquiry to the final song, The Covered was professional, easy going and sounded great! They did a brilliant job getting the party started in their first set and then brought down the house in the second. Numerous guests came up to us to say how impressed they were with The Covered. I would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a band that sounds great and brings energy to the party to get people up out of their seats and on to the dance floor. John and the band played at our wedding last night in Tunbridge Wells and were absolutely amazing. Great communication from start to finish, accommodated our wedding date move due to Covid and played an amazing set. All guests were gutted when the band finished and wanted the party to continue. I booked The Covered for my 40th birthday party. Communication with John was excellent from the start. They arrived when they said they would with everything they needed. They asked to change the location in the room I had selected which turned out to be the best idea & made for a much better atmosphere. The music was brilliant & had us all dancing the night away!
