What is your most memorable wedding?

I Remember the first wedding i DJ'd at after lockdown. The atmosphere was electric as the guests were so happy to be able to see family and friends after so long and spend quality time with them on the dance floor.

What about your business are you most proud of?

I would have to say my equipment, i'm a bit of a nerd when it comes to sound quality and technology so have invested a lot of time, money and energy into getting a set up im very proud of and being able to create a quality production for my clients.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Delegate, Delegate and Delegate. Give your family and friends jobs to do on the day so you can relax and enjoy your special day.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

I love music and find it heartwarming when theres a song been written for the couple during speeches. It allows you get to know the couple from a different perspective and its always a crowd pleaser.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

Firstly i will arrange to meet for a coffee or online if its easier through a video call. Initially i need to find out about the venue, music requirements for the day and budget. Then i talk about special songs, your friends and family and build a custom playlist with you. Requests can be done on the night or in advance through a link sent to guests. Another thing i discuss is any extras you may want such as sax player, performers or incorporating any games into the day.

What makes a romantic first dance?

I would have to say its all about the lyrics, you can really tell when a song means something to a couple.

What is your number one floor-filler?

Proud Mary is one that gets everyone up as its one for all ages, Bohemien Rhapsody is also a good one towards the end of the night.

Which band from the past would you most like to have been part of?

Iron Maiden

What is the soundtrack to your life?

Florence And The Machine- Stand By Me
