This team of talented performers works to provide a tailored experience for newlyweds-to-be on their big day. They boast an incredible range of musical genres in their repertoire, designed to surprise and delight guests of all ages. This company is happy to travel to accommodate clients throughout Lancashire, North Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, and the Cheshire and Shropshire areas. Services Offered Maximum Music UK offers a range of packages to suit the needs of any couple. Consultations are available in advance of your event, allowing you to discuss your vision and musical preferences. The team will then work to build a soundtrack that hits just the right note for your day. Your DJ can entertain your guests with up to six hours of top tracks, complete with embellishments such as smoke machines and lighting. Live performances are available to add to your entertainment, with options including a saxophonist, percussionist, a 7-piece band or a live dance crew. In addition to playing at evening receptions, this team can also provide music and entertainment for wedding breakfasts and dinners, as well as cocktail hours.

My feet still hurt….

From dancing all night long!!! We honestly cannot recommend UTC and Maximum Music highly enough! From the very beginning, they were warm, professional and incredibly easy to work with, and they helped make our wedding reception feel truly personal and unforgettable. Jon Lowe on DJ duties was absolutely fantastic. He understood the atmosphere we wanted perfectly, listened to our preferences and kept the dance floor packed all night. The saxophonist, drummer and singer were phenomenal, and the way the whole team collaborated and performed together was genuinely special. They brought so much energy, joy and warmth to the room, creating an amazing atmosphere that our guests loved. The biggest testament to how brilliant they were is how many of our guests have continued to rave about the music and entertainment. We’ve had so many people tell us how fantastic the band and DJ were, how much they enjoyed dancing and what a wonderful atmosphere they created. Seeing so many of our friends and family smiling, singing and dancing together meant the world to us. UTC and Maximum Music were such a huge part of making our wedding a truly memorable and joyful celebration. We’re so grateful for all the energy, talent and care they brought to our special day. If you’re looking for entertainment that will get everyone up, dancing and talking about your wedding long afterwards, we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. More than just our DJ – Jon was incredible!

From the very beginning, Jon was absolutely amazing. We kept in touch regularly in the lead-up to the wedding and genuinely built such a lovely relationship that, by the time the wedding came around, it felt like he wasn’t just one of our suppliers anymore, but a close friend coming to celebrate with us. Music was really important to us, but it wasn’t necessarily the easiest brief! Our wedding brought together my Slovakian side and Jacob’s English side, so we wanted the evening music to reflect both sides of our families. Jon was incredibly helpful with the music selection, listened to what we wanted, gave us advice when we weren’t sure and completely understood the atmosphere we were trying to create. He was so friendly, approachable and easy to talk to throughout the whole process, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Because we had built such a good relationship beforehand, we felt completely comfortable trusting him with the evening reception and letting him read the room. We had such a brilliant evening and Jon played a huge part in making it what it was. We genuinely couldn’t recommend him enough and, if we ever needed a DJ again, we wouldn’t even think twice about who we would choose. We’d hire Jon again in a heartbeat!

Incredible wedding DJ

Jon was incredible at our wedding. From the beginning reaching out a few weeks prior to get more info on what vibe we wanted (although I was less than helpful). To the day itself when he was prompt and super friendly. Most importantly played all the bangers that got people dancing. The best night of my life and I’m so glad Jon was part of our story🩷

Jon Lowe elevated our wedding

Jon Lowe was beyond awesome and is super highly recommended! From the minute we were put in touch with him to plan our wedding party, he asked all the right questions, put us at ease, and showed he really knows what he is doing. It soon became clear he's not just attentive, but also talented and a charismatic DJ with all the right equipment to create an amazing wedding party vibe. He elevated our special day! What an amazing DJ. We gave him the difficult task of playing music in a language he doesn't know - Arabic- alongside English music for our guests who came from over 12 countries. He nailed it. He played the right vibe as per our request and was quick to read the room and change the music to keep it alive - even though the groom and I disappeared for a while. When asked on the day to make changes, for instance, to shorten our first dance, as we did not manage to practice, he was swift and creatively combined it with a slow dance for all, putting everyone on the dance floor. He was also a great MC, very charismatic and knew what to say and how to engage everyone. We simply love him and cannot recommend him enough!

THE best Wedding DJ

We had Curtis DJ for our wedding and he knew exactly how to play the room!! Our wedding was 17/07/26 and it was a hot day and he knew just the right moments to wind down to give our guests a rest and knew exactly when to hype it back up !! He played all of our requested songs and was such a good vibe and made our evening reception perfect! All of our guests mentioned how amazing Curtis was and we cannot recommend him enough!!

Maximum value and energy

Maximum music events provided an incredible experience for us and our guests. We opted for the DJ and the lights with a haze machine. The DJ kept the energy high all night, there was no point where there wasn't a large group on the dancefloor. They had meetings with us prior to the event on our tastes and our curation of the music. They asked us about our wedding themes and how they could alter their set up towards that. There was no point where we felt uneasy or uncertain, a very experienced team and very friendly also. The lighting rigs provided with the DJ were incredible, the event felt less like a wedding and more like a live performance! Guests kept approaching us to express how impressed they were at the wedding and the entertainment offered by Maximum Music Events. I wish we could do it all again. They 10/10 provided us with the best day of our lives.

YOU NEED MARK AT YOUR WEDDING

We could not have asked for a better DJ and his sax player for our wedding! From the very beginning, they were professional, organized, and so easy to work with. They took the time to understand exactly the kind of atmosphere we wanted and absolutely delivered. The music was incredible from start to finish. Every transition was seamless, the dance floor stayed packed all night, and our guests are still talking about how much fun they had.

Ryan, Andy and Korin, all spectacular!

I could not give higher praise to the Maximum Music Events team for their hard work with our wedding. Ryan was amazing throughout the whole organising of how the day would flow. This included great communication via video calls and group messages and no text was ever too much. Even when an injury stopped him from being able to host the day himself, he arranged both Andy and Korin to be master of ceremony and DJ respectively, and neither disappointed! And even though he couldn't host our day himself, Ryan still came back to our venue 3 times to check the day was running smoothly, and my wife and I couldn't have been felt more looked after. All equipment was fantastic and worked closely with us to make sure all music was tailored to us throughout the day, meaning the dancefloor was never empty! All 3 are a credit to the company and would happily use them again!

What is your most memorable wedding?

Every wedding is unique & memorable in it's own way, we love them all. However, being that every couple is different, in turn, so is every wedding. Our aim with that in mind, is to bring your ideas to reality. The night should be memorable for you and your guests more than anyone else.

What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Always have contracts with suppliers.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

Tables names after lost loved ones with a song specially picked for each, with each guest at the table having a free drink voucher, to go and raise a glass, when they hear that song. Brilliant touch.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

At first we'll find out your idea's, what you're looking to get from your celebration. We will then discuss your music requirements to match one of our experienced DJs to your event. This will then lead to a further consultation with your DJ, curating your ideal playlist with them, making sure all timings are exact, and familiarising yourselves so when they arrive on the day, you know who they are, you know what to expect, and you have nothing to worry about.

What makes a romantic first dance?

A song which means everything to the couple, yet still captivates everyone in the room and lets them feel the emotion and love on the dancefloor.

What is your number one floor-filler?

This always depends on the genre.. However, me personally, Robin S - Show me love. There is always love for this song wherever I play in the country.

Which band from the past would you most like to have been part of?

Queen.
