I have a passion for music and a knack for creating unforgettable experiences without going anywhere near the stereotyped cheesy wedding DJ vibe! With 20 years in the industry and having attended over 1000 weddings, I bring a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of what it takes to make your special day truly remarkable. I mix my music to perfection, so each track is seamlessly blended into the next - a skill that is hard to find!
Marvellous Disco Pricing & Costs
£400 - £700
You may have been quoted a lot more than this by other disco providers. I am not in the business to overcharge people. The price is for everything you see in the pictures and is a price that I think is fair but certainly doesn't mean the quality is compromised. I offer a service that often exceeds those that charge upwards of £1000! Just take a look at the testimonials from past weddings and you will see for yourself.
The reason why I have charged what I have charged: Income tax, so that takes 20% off the amount straight away. Then there is fuel to/from the venue, the time it takes to travel to/from the venue, the setup time and takedown time, the amount of money I have invested in getting the amazing setup I have now, plus the many years I have put into crafting my skills to give you the best performance from a DJ that knows what they are doing! With all this in mind, I believe the quoted price is very reasonable.

Marvellous Disco - providing a high quality and professional award winning wedding disco service.
My music is extremely varied, and I can cater for any age or music type from the 50's to modern chart, from rock & roll to R&B, from dubstep to Punjabi.
I am a professional "mixing" DJ, which means as well as choosing the best music that will meet your guests tastes, I am able to mix the songs together for seamless transitions between each track played, rather than a stop/start performance.
When you book your event with Marvellous Disco, you are given your own secure section of the website where you can keep track of your event, submit any music requests that you may have and give me more information about your event (i.e. times for cake cutting, speeches etc.).

What is your most memorable wedding?
I DJ'd for a Gypsy wedding (that was part of the Channel 4 TV show). That was a very interesting experience!

I love my equipment. I pride myself on having top of the range lighting, booth and sound systems
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Have a good think about the sort of music you would like, but remember, you also have to make sure your guests have a great night too.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I love the fact that every wedding is different and each has their own unique personal touches. My most recent was the "Private last dance". Where all the guests were cleared out of the room and the bride and groom enjoyed the final song all to themselves! A great idea, and an excellent way to finish the evening.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
If we are unable to arrange a meeting in advance, I like to discuss things in detail either over the phone or via email. I am contactable at all times and typically reply straight away with any queries that may be had
What makes a romantic first dance?
A great song that isn't Ed Sheeran!
What is your number one floor-filler?
It depends on the age group and vibe in the room. Personally, I love 'Fire Burning' by Sean Kingston
