What is your most memorable wedding?
Very difficult as each one is hugely special. A recent gay wedding was huge fun with everyone in fancy dress and an 80's themed wedding was definitely a night to remember. For the more traditional, if we were paid in smiles, we would certainly be millionaires. When couples make a point of saying thank you at the end of the night because they appreciate the difference we've made, that's always the most memorable. This would only be usurped by a hand written note received from them after the event.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Perfectionist

Accommodating
What about your business are you most proud of?
Winning multiple awards, exceeding clients' expectations and nothing being too much trouble. We have a 100% 'can-do' attitude and delight in making even the most obscure wishes come true.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
NEVER compromise. When it comes to the DJ, he is the most important element of your reception. If the entertainment is right and everyone is having a good time, anything else that doesn't go to plan can be dealt with. With a cheap, amateur inexperienced DJ, NOTHING can make it better - it becomes an embarrassment and will spoil the whole day.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
We always encourage guests who cannot attend to send us video clips that we edit into a compilation of good wishes for the happy couple. It's a modern twist on the 'telegrams' part of the speeches and awesome when integrated with our large video screens
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Once they have got in contact, we'd meet up with them face to face. It's important for them to get to know us as more than just a supplier - we have a hugely important role to play in their special day and we like to reassure them they are dealing with a professional company. Once met, we stay in contact throughout the time leading up to the wedding, ensuring all desires are met, any changes are accommodated and we have the wish list of music including the First Dance.
Clients have my personal mobile number so they can reach me at any time.
What makes a romantic first dance?
A song that means something to both people. There are so many beautiful love songs but the most romantic one is something that is special to them both.
What is your number one floor-filler?
This is impossible to say as it depends on the audience. We would never go to an event with any preconceived ideas about what will fill the floor. We've had times where the B+G have chosen songs that none of their guests like (! - yes it can happen) and this is where as professional DJs we can recover the dance floor and fill it again.
Which band from the past would you most like to have been part of?
too many to choose from.. many, for many different reasons
What is the soundtrack to your life?
mmm. I'll have a think. Ask me when we meet up!
