Jamie McGuire Musician

I am a double award winning musician based in Essex and I have over 15 years experience performing as a musician and have played at some of the UK's most distinguished venues. I have built up a hugely successful cover act where I have been booked in big and small venues across the UK and event worldwide including France, Italy, Croatia and Thailand. Armed with just my acoustic guitar and a microphone, I believe my unique blend of popular cover songs make my act both distinctive and original. This is the reason why I have performed over 500 times since I started this project in 2008, which I think speaks highly. I offer entertainment through all parts of a Wedding day such as the Ceremony, Drinks Reception, Wedding Breakfast and Evening, where I play live sets and also provide a DJ service. Sometimes I am even booked to perform for the whole day building through to a crescendo as the day goes on and have every guest singing at the top of their lungs and dancing like a silly person :-) I've recently added an electronic kick drum to my act which really adds an extra dimension to the sound and used when I do my lively evening sets. I have been honoured to win 2 Wedding Industry Awards for Best Wedding Act (solo or duo) in 2012 and 2015, and be shortlisted for 2016. As well as being Shortlisted in the Essex Wedding Awards recently too. As a musician and member of the Musicians Union, I have gained valuable experience learning this trade, which I feel has elevated my level of performance to that of the very highest quality and second to none. You really have to see a live performance before you can compare me with other similar musicians. My equipment is of the highest calibre which is PAT tested every year. I am also covered by Public Liability.
