HotScotch Ceilidh Band Edinburgh

HotScotch are a dynamic trio of musicians and the band consists of Accordion, Fiddle & Drums. They have been playing together for over 10 years for weddings and events all over Scotland and further afield. Wedding Ceilidh Package - 3-piece Ceilidh Band (accordion, fiddle & drums) Experienced Dance Caller to make sure everyone can join in and have a great time Optional DJ & Lighting including laser effects Professional PA system Public Liability Insurance With the ceilidh we call the dances so if some people are not sure what to do, need a reminder or have never done ceilidh dancing before, then they'll be able to join in without any problems and have a great night. We do the usual dances eg. Gay Gordons, Strip the Willow, Dashing White Sergeant, Flying Scotsman, Military Two-Step, Eightsome Reel, Canadian Barn Dance, amongst our set, and usually finish up the ceilidh with a big Orcadian Strip the Willow. Alongside the ceilidh, we also offer a DJ package which is included at no additional cost and we are completely flexible as to how you want to mix the ceilidh and disco during the evening. We have our own professional disco lighting rig including laser effects. As multi-instrumentalists, HotScotch can also play as a Jazz Trio if you are looking for something for your afternoon reception. The Jazz trio consists of Saxophone, Piano & Drums and our repertoire covers all of the favourite Jazz standards.
