What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Be flexible and relax! Accept that your day might run late, and that it isn't a disaster if it does! Factor in extra time for things so that you're not stressing all day about rushing to get to the next item on the itinerary. It is for this reason that we often recommend that bands aren't down to start too early, as the majority of weddings run a little longer than planned by the time you get to the actual party, and so taking the pressure off really helps!

Describe your typical process with a couple.

The couple get in contact through the website, enquiring about one or a selection of bands. They receive an instant quote and availability check, and then we follow up with a personalised email providing more detail about each of the available acts, as well as confirming what is included and how to secure a band for their date with a reservation fee. 12 weeks before the wedding, we put the client in touch with the band so they can discuss special requests and logistics (e.g. a specific itinerary, first dance), and then one month before the event the final balance is due. We always send reminders if things are due or need to be done, as we know things can be easily forgotten! We are flexible and accommodating according to each couple and we make sure to be available throughout the process to answer any questions.

What makes a romantic first dance?

One that is special to the couple themselves - the song doesn't have to be a typical choice or even romantic at all, if it means something to the couple then that makes it romantic.
