We play up to 20 minutes before your Ceremony start time to provide an ambience while your guests arrive and take their seats. You can choose music you would particularly like, or leave it to us to make the best choices. If you are 'fashionably late' don't worry, we have more than enough music to cover this and keep your guests happy, and we'll liaise with the Registrars to ensure a smooth transition to your Entrance! DRINKS RECEPTION We set up wherever the guests will be. We even have lithium battery powered equipment for use in 'off grid' situations. Set up outside when the weather is good enough for your guests, otherwise inside your venue or marquee. This usually lasts about 1.5 hrs although you may want a longer drinks reception if the weather is exceptional or the photographer needs more time. IN THE LULL BETWEEN THE MEAL AND THE EVENING RECEPTION Often this is a time when the day guests are unsure what to do, and the evening guests start to arrive. There needs to be a focus, and sometimes live music is the answer. DJs don't want to start until later and neither do bands, so you have a lull when people are relaxing and mingling before the evening reception starts..
