Full Description
Mobile discos have changed dramatically over the past few years. Anyone can now call themselves a 'DJ'. After all, you only need a cheap set of speakers, a few lights and a laptop don't you? Likewise at the other end of the scale you have large agencies who book DJ's for events without the personal care and attention a Wedding or special Birthday deserves. DJ Chris provides good old fashioned customer service, together with modern professional and fully backed up equipment. He takes time to find out your special occasions needs and makes your event the best it can be. Reliable, trustworthy, always dressed for your occasion, fully public liability insured and a member of the National Association of Disc Jockeys, DJ Chris is available to travel to your party destination in Bristol, Bath, Somerset and the surrounding areas. With a huge library of songs from the 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s until the present, DJ Chris will take your music requests before and during the event. As always his sole aim is to make your special occasion a thoroughly enjoyable and unforgettable experience.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Don't leave hiring the DJ to the last minute. They are a big part of your special day too and you don't want to be left with no choice about who to book.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

First of all it's all about seeing if you're the right 'fit' for each other. If you have the same outlook for the Wedding reception then next it's good to discuss the couples musical likes (and dislikes) as well as the guests. Naturally this can continues after the booking has been made.

What makes a romantic first dance?

Creating the right atmosphere in the room amongst the guests - this means getting the lighting right so it's not too bright and introducing the dance by getting the guests excited that they're about to see the Bride & Groom's first dance as a married couple.

What is your number one floor-filler?

Abba - Dancing Queen. Yes some people hate it but a lot of people love it. I've played it at Weddings but I've also been requested to play it at 21st's!

Which band from the past would you most like to have been part of?
