What is your most memorable wedding?
Do I have to pick just one?? There are so many! I think I simply have to highlight those where I am on the dance floor partying with the couple and their guests. I've had some incredibly heartwarming wedding experiences playing songs like 'Superstition, 'Man with the Red Face', 'On the Floor' and 'Losing It' (to name but a few), where the crowd are all around me and cheering me on. It's like they're performing with me!! Though I've seen some incredible talents such as rambunctious dancing, hilarious speeches and other spectacular entertainment, I have to highlight just what a joy it is to perform. It's cliche, but it's true.

What about your business are you most proud of?
I think that would be the consistency of my service. I've now received in the region of 50 reviews across various platforms, and every single one of them is glowing; five stars with not a single qualm to say about my communication, professionalism or performance. I take great pride in ensuring that this won't change any time soon!
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Planning a wedding, frankly, is a colossal task! As with any larger goal, I think it always pays off to spend some thought breaking down the tasks into smaller ones as much as possible, so each one seems less daunting!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
That definitely has to be the wedding of a young couple I performed for recently - they had their rings brought to them by Alpacas!! Incredibly memorable, and quite cute besides.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
The start of our conversation might depend on how far through the planning stages you are when you get in touch! Couples who have fewer things set in stone sometimes benefit from me talking them through the different packages that I have available, to see how they could then include those packages in their future planning. I can send through some summary documents for anyone on a tighter schedule, but with that said it's really lovely to do this over the phone if we can arrange a time! Conversely, couples with a mostly complete wedding plan might simply ask whether I'm free to fit in with their day and/or evening plan as it stands. In nearly all cases I'm more than happy to create a bespoke package that will fit around them! Once we're happy with the timings, we can start the (definitely more fun) process of choosing what I'm going to play! I have an enormous songlist for clients to pick from, and two bespoke requests are included in all packages should they wish to customise my performance further.
What makes a romantic first dance?
I think it has to be a song choice that's sentimental to you both! After all, music isn't truly about what you hear, rather it's about how it makes you feel. I offer bespoke first dance requests as part of my packages to make sure you'll remember that special dance forever!
What is your number one floor-filler?
Freed from Desire, by Gala. Massive drops, space to improvise and a catchy melody make this one of the most epic songs I've ever played!
Which band from the past would you most like to have been part of?
If I'm being completely honest it would probably be Herbie Hancock's "Head Hunters"! I'm a massive fan of the jazz fusion and funk that Herbie has created over the years - touring with them would have been life-changing.
What is the soundtrack to your life?
I'm lucky to enjoy listening to all kinds of music, but the standout genre for me is in fact ambient soundscapes! They really help me relax into whatever I'm doing, be that preparing for weddings, reading, cooking, or even just to sit and listen to.
