A ceilidh is one of the best ways to bring wedding guests together. It does not matter whether your friends and family are experienced dancers or have never been to a ceilidh before - our experienced caller explains every dance clearly and keeps everyone involved. From the Gay Gordons and Strip the Willow to the Dashing White Sergeant, expect a dance floor filled with music, laughter and guests of every generation.

A professional dance caller is included with every line-up, so nobody needs to know the dances beforehand.
For couples looking for complete evening entertainment, our Ceilidh Band & DJ packages provide the perfect combination of live Scottish music and a modern wedding party. We can play your first dance through our professional sound system, fill the dance floor with a lively ceilidh and then have our DJ continue the celebration with music tailored to you and your guests. Requests can be provided in advance or made on the night, and we are equally happy to work with a carefully planned playlist or read the room as the evening unfolds.
We understand that every wedding is different, which is why our timings are completely flexible. The ceilidh can be performed in one energetic set or divided around your evening buffet, and the DJ can play before, between and after the live sets. We will work closely with you and your venue to create an evening schedule that flows naturally.
Our packages include a professional PA system and stage lighting, along with all the equipment required for the performance. Where arranged in advance, our PA and wireless microphones may also be available for speeches, announcements and background music, helping to keep your wedding day running seamlessly.
We can also provide entertainment throughout the rest of your wedding day. Additional options include:
- Bagpipers for guest arrivals, the ceremony, drinks reception or grand entrance

Do our guests need to know how to ceilidh dance?
Not at all. Our experienced caller is included with every band line-up and will clearly explain each dance before the music begins. Complete beginners and experienced dancers can all join in together.
What band line-ups do you offer?
We offer a choice of 2-Piece, 3-Piece, 4-Piece, 5-Piece and 6-Piece Ceilidh Bands. This allows you to select the sound and atmosphere that best suit your venue, guest numbers and budget.
What is included in your Ceilidh Band & DJ package?
Our combined package includes live ceilidh music, an experienced dance caller and professional DJ entertainment. We also provide the PA system, stage lighting and equipment required for the evening.
Can your DJ play our first dance?
Yes. Our DJ can play your chosen first-dance recording through our professional sound system before moving into the ceilidh or DJ portion of the evening.
Can we request songs for the DJ?
Absolutely. You can send us requests and musical preferences before your wedding, and guests are also welcome to make requests on the night. Our DJ will combine these with carefully chosen music to keep the dance floor packed!
How long does the ceilidh last?
The timings are completely flexible. The ceilidh can be performed as one energetic set or divided into separate sets around your evening buffet. We will help you create a schedule that flows naturally with the rest of your celebration.
Can you provide music during other parts of our wedding?
Yes. Additional options include Bagpipers, Harpists, String Trios and Quartets, Folk Musicians, and Jazz Musicians. Bespoke packages can cover your ceremony, drinks reception, dinner and evening celebration.
Do you provide your own sound and lighting equipment?
Yes. Our packages include a professional PA system and stage/dancefloor lighting, along with the equipment needed for our performance. Subject to prior arrangement, microphones and the PA system can be hired for speeches, announcements, and background music.
How much time do you need to set up?
We normally allow approximately 60 to 90 minutes for setup and soundcheck. We will coordinate timings and access directly with you or your venue to ensure everything is ready before the entertainment begins.
Do you perform outside Scotland?
Yes. We perform at weddings throughout Scotland, across the UK and internationally. Travel and accommodation requirements will depend on the location, and these will be clearly explained in your personalised quotation.
