Can't choose between Ceilidh, DJ and Rockin' out? With Bass Rock Ceilidh Band you don't have to. We'll bring the ROCK energy to your Ceilidh while catering to all tastes with DJ set included.

BRCB are a 'Rock-ceilidh' band and disco. We blend well-known rock riffs, and much more, into our traditional ceilidh sets, played on electric fiddle, electric guitar, bass and drums (also electric). All dance instructions given and a DJ set included. Check out our profile for all package options.

Bass Rock Ceilidh Band Pricing & Costs

£695 - £1,150

Our quotes include entertainment for a pre-arranged block of up to four consecutive hours before midnight, including breaks & DJ set if required and our travel costs within 50 miles of Glasgow (extra charges if further). For entertaining in excess of four hours, or after midnight the fee is an additional £40 per person per half hour. All our fully PAT tested sound and light equipment is included, and (as MU members) we have public liability insurance of up to £10m.

Booking the BRCB and disco means you get a full 4 piece ‘rock-ceilidh’ band comprising electric fiddle, electric guitar, bass and drums. We are all highly experienced and skilled musicians. We play toe-tapping high energy ceilidh tunes blended with snippets and riffs from many modern songs. Your guests will be in safe hands, even if complete ceilidh novices. As an experienced ceilidh dance caller I will guide them step by step through the most popular dances, and a few more unusual dances too. This ensures that everyone will be able to fully participate in your big day. We bring our own pat-tested sound and light equipment and also have PLI.

The most fun we have had

Bass Rock Ceilidh Band was an absolute highlight of our wedding. Their unique rock twist on traditional ceilidh music had the dance floor packed all night, and they were brilliant at guiding everyone through the steps—even the complete beginners! We couldn’t have asked for a better atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Fantastic Ceilidh Band

This band knows how to put on a ceilidh!! Fantastic music from start to finish and the dance floor was filled. The mix of traditional and modern is a special touch and adds something for everyone. We had quite a large amount of guests where this would be their first ceilidh- but each dance was broken down well at the start before getting into it. We also asked for the Grand March which is not commonly played on mainland Scotland but this was no problem for the band to add in. We also thoroughly enjoyed the DJ portion of the night which allowed us to continue dancing the night away!! Thanks again. Lots of love, Mr and Mrs Wright xx

We had the best time on our big day!

We had so much fun at our wedding and everyone was trying the ceilidh for the first time, even people you would never expect to!!! The Best Night

Bass Rock Ceilidh Band played at our wedding in March and they were phenomenal. I loved the mix of traditional ceilidh dancing with little riffs and beats of rock songs added in. All of our guests have since said how fun and unique the ceilidh was. We are both quite alternative in our music tastes and the DJ section of the night was perfect. I was so happy to see so many guests dancing. Thank you so much for bringing the best music and entertainment to the night.

Dancing a Ceilidh with all your loved ones is the best!

We hired a 2 part band and they were amazing. Great players and fantastic at calling the dances too - to a room full of Aussies who had never done them before. Was an amazing experience, 10/10! Didn't have time to talk to everyone on the day, but we got to dance with most people which was unforgettable.

I highly recommend these guys!!!

We booked these guys for our wedding night ceilidh and we had an absolutely amazing night!!! It was the best!
