A professional three piece live wedding band performing all contemporary styles The Ashmore Brothers Band have gigged extensively and consistently deliver a unique, first class performance to every single wedding they attend. They have performed to crowds all over the UK and Europe, from high profile overseas corporate events and celebrity weddings to small intimate gigs. LIAM Guitar & Lead Vocalist Guitarist and lead vocalist Liam studied at the Academy of Contemporary Music. His band Cortina cut their first E.P with legendary producer John Etchells (George Harrison/Queen) After a further two E.P’s, he saw his group ‘Raising Sand’ enter the MTV2 video charts and appeared in NME’s cover feature alongside ‘We are Scientists’, ‘Editors’ and ‘The Arctic Monkeys’. Raising Sand enjoyed consistent London gigging and summer festivals including a slot supporting the Fun Lovin Criminals. MATT Drums & Backing vocals Matt has been a drummer in bands and local folk clubs for many years. Matt provides backing vocals and plays the Cajon setup with hi-hats/cymbals (in effect, a small drum kit!). The Cajon has been used to accompany acoustic artists such as Seth Lakeman, Sandy Thom and even rock band Biffy Clyro. Matt uses a hybrid electric drum kit for evening receptions. The volume can be altered easily to help adhere to venue sound limiters. RICH Bass & Backing Vocals Rich was born to play bass guitar, and signed to the infamous Dick James music label as a nipper. He has extensive experience on the road having toured all over the world, specifically the United States, Saudi Arabia & Europe. Rich has played on various albums for artists including Paul McCartney, Level 42, Glenn Hughes from Deep Purple, and even the Nolan's. Despite having performed to crowds of tens of thousands, he always says the biggest moment in his life has been working alongside the Ashmore Brothers.
