I have over 30 years piping experience. I have played the pipes all over the world and taken part in many high profile events such as the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo and the hand over of Hong Kong. I currently perform at over 50 weddings a year and over 250 events annually. I have extensive experience in delivering a no nonsense service tailored to your desires. I have a choice of uniform styles in over 10 different tartans.

I don't offer packages or restrictive time slots, instead, my pricing allows for a degree of flexibility, allowing the couples to choose a performance to suit them rather than their budget. I will not book multiple wedding jobs in a day, so all of my couples are able to relax knowing that, if required they have my services from their guest arrival through to the wedding breakfast if desired. Each wedding performance includes me wearing full dress as standard, so again, there is no compromise on which uniform is worn due to budget constraints. I am happy to liaise with wedding venues and co-ordinators to smooth out any potential hiccups before the big day and to advise and format an ideal performance to compliment your plans for the day.

I began playing the pipes at 9 years old, I then joined the Army when I left school and joined the Black Watch and served in the pipes and drums. With the Black Watch, I was privileged to take part in many high profile events such as the Royal Edinburgh Tattoo (3 times) the hand over of Hong Kong and 2 musical tours of North America, in addition to this we also played for most members of the Royal Family and visited numerous countries such as New Zealand, Ireland, Kenya and Crete. Since leaving the army I have been lucky to take part in other prestigious events such as the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo in 2014, the Basel Tattoo in 2015 and the Berlin Tattoo in 2016. My experience at these events carries through to the services I can offer for your special day. I have a range of different tartans and uniform styles to choose from. I am also able to offer a bagpipe composition to be played and a framed copy of the score to commemorate your special day.
