The Groom's Room

Our first trip to The Grooms Room was fine, we attended in the morning at a weekend and were offered a drink, but when I asked for a coffee they said they didn’t serve hot drinks. A minor detail to be honest but a bit odd. The lady who helped us was great and helpful so we left feeling good. We then took the best man for a fitting where he was measured up for a suit - no issues here but Rob ( I assume he’s the manager) was a little off with us, we weren’t sure why. But we left happy nonetheless. He planned a return date with us to try on the suits. When we returned on this date, he had lost the measurements and had to retake them all again, once again, he was a little rude to us and tried to blame one of the girls for not taking the measurements (it was clearly his fault). When the suits eventually came in and we’re tried on they were fine, the best man’s suit had a rip near the pocket of the trouser which my mother had to sew up before the wedding. Communication was poor the whole way through the experience and they didn’t tell me when the suits arrived and I had to call them to find out they had been there for over a week. Very disappointing and not an experience we enjoyed. The suits however looked lovely on, it’s just a shame about the manager.

Went here after being quoted a price, which was reasonable, only to turn up and the rude fella try and charge me hundreds more!

Every visit we had to the grooms room was so relaxed and friendly. Nothing was too much stress for the staff. On my wedding day everyone complimented the suits and said how different and smart they were. The quality of the suits were fantastic. We also had to make a few changes and make a couple of add ons for my children and this again was no problem. Very efficient service and would recommend them to everyone. We were given a private appointment so we had the full attention of our Tailor. Nothing was a problem and all the staff went the extra mile to ensure that we were made comfortable and that we got the VIP treatment.

The selection is amazing. They have everything you can think of. From the start of the experience when choosing the suits & getting all the groomsmen measured up was second to none. The beer fridge goes down really well too! Practical payment plan. Although they are not the cheapest it is definitely worth spending the extra money as the service, overall experience, & quality will not be beaten. We will strongly recommend to all our friends & family. Many thanks. The new Mr & Mrs Brewer!!

Great customer service, well looked after from start to finish and pleasant staff. A good experience and lovely suits and brogues.
