Family-run since 1988, Ruby's Marquees designs bespoke marquees for weddings across London and the South East. Every booking starts with a free onsite visit and is installed by our own in-house team.
Ruby's Marquees began in 1988, when two brothers started hiring out marquees from a back garden in Hounslow. Nearly four decades on, we're still a family-run business, and around 90% of our weddings come through referrals from couples and venues who've seen how we work.
We don't offer a fixed catalogue. Every marquee is designed around your venue, your guest count and the shape of your day, whether that's an intimate garden ceremony or a large-scale South Asian wedding with a mandap centrepiece.
It all starts with a free onsite visit. We come to your venue, assess the space in person, and only then recommend a structure. No guesswork, and no obligation.
What we offer
- Marquee structures: framed clearspan marquees, and lined and draped marquees. Choose a rigid, weatherproof design with raised hardwood flooring to keep the rain out, or an open, panoramic-roofed style that shows off a scenic setting.
- Weddings of every kind: ceremonies, wedding breakfasts, evening receptions, pre-wedding events, and South Asian and African wedding celebrations.
- Interiors and styling: hardwood flooring, linings and drapes, lighting (including chandeliers), carpets and linen.
- Furniture and equipment hire: tables, chairs, heaters and other event essentials.
- Full installation service: our own team handles setup and breakdown in-house, with no hidden costs.
Based at 250 Great West Road, Hounslow, we cover London and the South East, including Hounslow, Ealing, Hillingdon, Brent, Hammersmith & Fulham, Middlesex, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex and Kent. Venues outside these areas are considered case by case, so do get in touch.

CAN WE DECORATE THE MARQUEE TO MATCH OUR WEDDING THEME?
Of course. The marquee itself is your blank canvas. Our lining, furniture, and lighting options are all selected to complement whatever theme or colour palette you have in mind, and we’re always happy to talk through ideas if you’re still deciding.
CAN YOU CATER FOR MULTI-DAY WEDDING CELEBRATIONS?
Yes, we regularly work across multi-day celebrations including mehndi, sangeet, and the main wedding, either as separate setups or as part of one coordinated structure.
DO YOU PROVIDE MARQUEES FOR LARGE SOUTH ASIAN WEDDINGS?
Yes. A significant part of our work is large-scale South Asian wedding marquees, often accommodating several hundred guests across multiple ceremonies. We understand the scale, structure, and detail these celebrations require, because we’ve been delivering them for decades.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD WE BOOK OUR WEDDING MARQUEE?
As early as you can. For summer dates and peak wedding season especially, our diary fills quickly. Booking early also means more time to talk through your vision properly, rather than rushing decisions that deserve a bit of thought.
HOW MUCH SPACE WILL WE NEED FOR OUR WEDDING MARQUEE?
It depends entirely on your guest count, your layout, and your venue. This is exactly why we visit every site in person before quoting. We’ll walk the space with you, talk through what’s possible, and recommend a size and layout that works properly, not just one that fits on paper.
IS A SITE VISIT REQUIRED BEFORE YOU QUOTE?
Always. We never quote blind. A site visit means we know your ground, your access, and your space properly, so the quotation you receive is accurate from the start.
WHAT’S INCLUDED IN A WEDDING MARQUEE HIRE PACKAGE?
Everything. Structure, hardwood flooring, lining, furniture, lighting, and heating are all part of our all-inclusive packages. You’re not piecing together quotes from five different suppliers, you’re working with one team who handles it all.
WHAT HAPPENS IF THE WEATHER TURNS ON THE DAY?
Nothing changes for you. Our marquees are fully weatherproofed and can be heated, so your celebration carries on exactly as planned, rain or shine. It’s one of the reasons couples choose a marquee in the first place, you’re not gambling on the British weather.
CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE VERY LARGE GUEST COUNTS?
Yes. Our marquee structures are designed to comfortably accommodate large guest counts, from 100 guests upwards to 1000+. We’ll advise on the right size and layout during our site visit.
CAN YOU CATER FOR BOTH THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION UNDER ONE ROOF?
Yes. Our larger marquee structures are designed to accommodate ceremony, dining, and dancing all within the same space, removing the need for guests to move between venues or for the room to be turned around between events.
