Jon and the team at Hatch are amazing. They provided the marque for our wedding in June 2021. From the beginning of the process they were professional and easy to deal with. They were accommodating to all of our changes and delays as a result of COVID. The marquee they provided was perfect and made a great venue for our wedding. What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

Don't have any favourites, but love the variety of decorations and ingenious touches that bride and grooms add to make the space personal to them....that's the beauty of a marquee.

How do you create an ambiance in a marquee?

Getting the right size marquee is a must for creating ambiance - you don't want to be too cramped but you also don't want too much space so that there isn't any atmosphere. Lighting is also key and there are plenty of options to choose from during different times of the day too.

Where is the most exciting place that you have put a marquee?

Over a lake!

What is your record time for putting up your marquee?

Although we always work to a deadline, its all about the planning. If a job needs a certain amount of time to ensure it is installed and looking tip top then that's what we do. Most jobs are put up in one day, but if build is a bit more complicated then we may allow two or more days.

What is your favourite design of marquee and why?

We work with frame marquees so that's what we love the best. It is the variety of sizes that makes them so versatile allowing you to fit marquees into quite awkward spaces. The clear roofs are pretty awesome too, they add the wow factor and allow the light to flood to the space - love it!
