FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

A Midsummer Nights Dream set in the woods wedding.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Natural, personal, creative, British Grown, fun.

What about your business are you most proud of?

Our personal service and knowledge.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Make your day say everything it can about you.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

Table centres designed to suit the people seated at that table.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

We spend around and hour at our studio chatting about your wedding, looking at images and ideas to suit your vision over tea and cake! I create a detailed quote based on this meeting and leave you to come back to me with any questions about the quote. Once your deposit is paid, we are confirmed and your wedding date is closed. We often email or chat over the coming weeks/ months to discuss any changes or other ideas you want to run past us, it's a process planning a wedding. Then around 2 weeks before your wedding date, we meet again or Skype to go over the final details of your order, confirm names for buttonholes and delivery details for the day. The balance is then due. On the day we deliver bouquets and buttonholes wherever they are needed, meanwhile our team arrives at the venue and we begin set up. We do not leave until all the flowers are exactly as they need to be. The following day, any hire items are collected.

What is the most interesting thing you have put in a bouquet?

A stop watch.

Is there a flower that has specific symbolism that you would recommend for couples?

All flowers have meanings which some people may be aware of. What's most important is what they mean to you. Perhaps your Mum or Grandmothers favourite flower could be included as a large or small part of the design.

What is the most romantic flower and why?

Traditionally Roses are romantic but there are some beautiful seasonal flowers which are becoming more popular. Nigella, Nerines, Alstormeria.

What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?

We can collect them and rework them into designs for your relatives house, donate them to a local Nursing/ care home or you can design table centres specifically so that your guests can take them home to enjoy.
