What is your most memorable wedding?
In the very early days I had to flower 5 dogs for their owners wedding. They wore fresh flowers around their collars. It wasn't the biggest or most beautiful wedding I've ever done but definitely one of the most fun and definitely cutest.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Research! From Pinterest to Instagram there is a wealth of information out there for you and so many incredible ideas. You can do almost anything these days for your wedding. What I would most recommend is that you make sure that your ideas reflect you as a couple and what you love but also that you are realistic with your budget. It only happens once so create something, whether big and flamboyant or small and intimate, that reflects your love for each other and the things you enjoy doing.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Include memory flowers for loved ones lost that can't attend the wedding. For example a grandparents favourite flower or a scent that reminds you of that person like lavender or jasmine.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
It starts with either a telephone or face to face consultation to discuss initial ideas you may have. From this we will create a brief to work to. We will put together a detailed costing sheet for you for each element of your wedding. No cost will be hidden and everything explained so you are in no doubt about what you'll be paying for. Once the brief and cost is agreed you will be required to pay a deposit to secure the date. One month before the wedding we will have a further meeting to discuss any last minute changes or details needed. We will deliver and set up your wedding flowers on the day and return to take down and clear away the following day if needed.
What is the most interesting thing you have put in a bouquet?
I love using things like figs, blackberries or tiny apples and cherries.
Is there a flower that has specific symbolism that you would recommend for couples?
If you are lucky enough to get married in Peony season then these are a wonderful flower to include. They symbolise romance, prosperity, a happy marriage and compassion.
What is the most romantic flower and why?
I would say the scented rose. The rose is a favourite with brides and it is always lovely to have a scent to add to your wedding day as it evokes lasting memories. The rose has so many different meanings depending on the colour you chose so there is definitely something for everyone.
What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?
You can either take them home to enjoy or share with family and friends. A lot of the flowers I use can be dried, I offer an additional service where I pick your bouquet up the next day and disassemble it for drying then once dried put it back together and return it to you (this will only work with certain flowers so may not be possible for all bouquets). You could also have it pressed and framed or preserved. If you don't wish to keep the flowers I can take them away for you and either donate them to a local charity or they can be composted.
