How far in advance should we book our wedding flowers?
Most couples secure their date with us between 9 and 18 months in advance, particularly for peak spring and summer dates. However, depending on our studio schedule and availability, we can occasionally accommodate shorter lead times for intimate celebrations or last minute commissions.
How does the floral design process work with Stemmed?
Our creative process begins with an initial consultation to explore your venue, colour preferences, and overall aesthetic vision. Following this, we craft a bespoke floral concept proposal complete with mood boards and clear pricing. Once booked, we refine every detail alongside you right up to the wedding day.
What does 100 percent foam free floristry actually mean?
Single use floral foam is a non biodegradable plastic that breaks down into toxic microplastics. Being 100 percent foam free means we construct all our arrangements and large scale installations using traditional, sustainable mechanics such as reusable chicken wire, kenzans or flower frogs, and water vessels, ensuring zero plastic waste without ever sacrificing visual impact.
Do you have a minimum spend for weddings?
Because every floral design we create is fully bespoke and tailored to your venue and scale, we work on a custom commission basis. Please get in touch via our enquiry form with your date, venue, and initial ideas, and we will happily provide a tailored estimate suited to your scope.
Do you cater for destination weddings outside London?
Yes. While our studio is proudly based in London and we regularly style events across the capital and the Home Counties, we are fully equipped to travel across the United Kingdom and internationally for destination celebrations.
Can we repurpose our ceremony florals for the reception?
Absolutely. Designing thoughtfully is a key part of our sustainable ethos. We love creating versatile arrangements, such as ceremony meadow flowers or arch elements, that our team can seamlessly move and restyle after your vows to elevate your reception tablescapes or top table.
Do you handle delivery, setup, and late night breakdown?
Yes, we offer a complete full service experience. Our experienced studio team manages the transport, delicate setup, and precise styling on your wedding morning. We also return at the end of the evening or the following morning to dismantle installations and clean the space.
Can you supply candles and glassware alongside the flowers?
Yes. We offer a curated rental collection of high quality taper candles, pillar candles, votives, and elegant glass chimneys or brass holders. Integrating tailored lighting into our tablescapes ensures a cohesive, atmospheric dining environment.
Can we keep our flowers after the wedding?
Yes. After the celebration, you and your guests are more than welcome to take home the personal bouquets and table arrangements. For any blooms left behind during breakdown, we aim to repurpose them or ensure they are composted sustainably.
How do we secure our wedding date with your studio?
To hold your date on our studio calendar, we require a signed agreement and a deposit payment. Once these are complete, your date is locked in, and we can begin building your detailed concept boards.
