Recentlly shortlisted in as a Regional Finalist in the TWIA Awards 2024 Sarah Guild Floral Design creates beautiful bespoke flowers for your Wedding Day. Every wedding is unique, and so should be your flowers. Sarah can provide Bridal Party Flowers, Venue Flowers, and can hire stylish props and vases, plus supply candles, & dried petal confetti. All bouquets & buttonholes are wrapped with handmade botanically dyed silk or bamboo ribbon to your palette. Striving to be more sustainable, no floral foam, plastic wrapping materials are used, green materials are composted. Sarah encourages her clients to gift their flowers to guests to spread the joy for your family and friends. She is such an incredibly kind, thoughtful talent

Sarah was incredible from the beginning - creating a stunning bridal and coordinating bridesmaid bouquet, with buttonholes and corsages to match. Perhaps most importantly, she bought both our venues to life with her beautiful bud vases, meadow boxes and candles, to create a breathtaking vision full of spring flowers... I cannot recommend Sarah enough!! She is such an incredibly kind, thoughtful and talented florist that I have absolutely no hesitation to recommend to anyone!!

She was so easy to work with, a delight to meet

I absolutely loved working with Sarah. She was so easy to work with, a delight to meet up with and discuss design ideas and every idea I had was taken on board with passionate enthusiasm. The flowers on our wedding day were beyond our imagination - absolutely stunning! I loved how Sarah took our brief but left a few surprises for us on our big day which blew us away. Sarah not only made the flowers perfect but she added so many little touches and even came back to wrap bouquets the next day.

Throughout the process Sarah understood my vision

Throughout the process Sarah understood my vision and worked with my bespoke ideas on table centres. She was also happy for me to include some home grown flowers from friends . She sat with my cake lady on the day and worked out a beautiful plan for cake flowers and did not bat an eyelid when I asked for extra button holes. On the day she was prompt and very calming so I felt confident to leave her to it - I was not disappointed and just thrilled with mybouquets and venue .

Sarah was absolutely fantastic

Sarah was absolutely fantastic from my first initial enquiry right through to the our wedding day. Her attention to detail was fantastic and I couldn't of been any happier with the flowers on our wedding day. Sarah really took the time to understand what I was visualising and how I wanted the flowers to look and came up with an arrangement that was spectacular. Nothing was too much trouble and the guests all commented how wonderful the flowers were too.

What is your most memorable wedding?

Every wedding is completely unique, they all have their own flower recipe too :-)

My clients - I feel so grateful to meet so many wonderful people though my work.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Make it your own and enjoy the process as much as you can. Book suppliers who you feel really comfortable and happy with. They're form a team to make you and your day feel completely your own.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

I have a small cutting patch for flowers in my garden, and I love adding a handful of stems to make each clients 'recipe' unique. I learnt calligraphy to label buttonholes and bouquets.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

We begin the process with a conversation about plans for your day and how you'd like it to be. I'll ask if there are any flowers, colours or styles you have in mind and then make suggestions via a mood board or on the phone. Ideally we'd meet in real life. I'll cost up the day as an estimate. If you'd like to book, then I ask for deposit and signature of the terms of conditions.

What is the most interesting thing you have put in a bouquet?

English flowers, they capture a fleeting moment in a season. I often get asked to add a memory locket, special broach or particular stem to remember someone.

Is there a flower that has specific symbolism that you would recommend for couples?

Each couple and their flowers are unique - I tend to reccommend seasonal flowers that I think will fit each couples brief.

What is the most romantic flower and why?

All flowers are romantic to me!

What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?

Gift them to your guests, so people can enjoy your day for longer. I'm always happy to make suggestions for ways to preserve them too.
