Eco-minded Autumn Wedding
Beautiful flowers which made our wedding spectacular. We were drawn to Bekah for our wedding because we wanted something unique yet native and as in line with our ecological sensibilities as possible. Bekah did not disappoint, she understood our vision right from the outset and the bouquet, centre pieces and all the flowers were stunning and unique. We didn't need any other decorations because the flowers were so amazing. We got married in October 2021 and the colours, feel and magic of the changing seasons was brought into our day through the wonderful displays. Thank you so much. You brought so much joy to our day.

Much more than a artist
We knew that Bekah would do a wonderful job as soon as we met her. She really listened to what we wanted and had so many ideas that were completely in tune with our wishes. However, what she actually produced was way beyond our expectations. Everyone in our wedding party commented on the beauty of the flowers repeatedly and on the way which Bekah had displayed them. Her use of candle light amongst the flowers added a warm and magical atmosphere. Bekah is much more than a florist, she is an artist.

Cambridge College Wedding
Bekah designed and provided the flowers for our wedding at Pembroke College, Cambridge, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. We were looking for someone with a focus on seasonal and local flowers, and who prioritised sustainability, without sacrificing on beauty. Bekah delivered all this and more. She was helpful and flexible to the last -- even when COVID meant last minute changes to groomsmen and bridesmaids -- and understood our vision for the flowers absolutely perfectly. I was genuinely stunned by what she produced, and our guests could not stop commenting on them. They were particularly thrilled when they discovered that Bekah had designed the large arrangements so that they could be divided up, and each of our guests went away with arm-fulls. I feel immensely lucky to have had Bekah at our wedding, and I would recommend her to anyone.

What is your most memorable wedding?

A beautiful humanist wedding set deep in woodlands - it was unique, exciting and very very hot!

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Natural, seasonal, wild, garden-inspired, beautiful

What about your business are you most proud of?

Building it from scratch with no investment or paid advertising - just by recommendation and word of mouth.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Opt for fewer, larger floral designs and consider different ways to use them throughout the day.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

A silver fern incorporated into a bridal bouquet to pay homage to her groom's home country.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

Usually, a couple will make contact and I will then send them a questionnaire to fill out prior to our first consultation. This meeting (either in person or via Zoom) lasts up to an hour, and we discuss every aspect of the wedding and their hopes and dreams for their wedding florals. I will bring lots of images and ideas to the table, and we brainstorm and chat through lots of options. I then go away and create a detailed wedding proposal including a moodboard and itemised quotation. Should couples wish to go ahead and book my services, they can do so at this stage with the booking fee. The initial consultation is then followed up by emails, phone calls, and venue visits before the big day!

What is the most interesting thing you have put in a bouquet?

A pine cone! For a rustic autumnal bridal bouquet - it also had pheasant feathers in it!

Is there a flower that has specific symbolism that you would recommend for couples?

I would never recommend one specific flower - but I do strongly recommend that couples embrace what their wedding season offers them. Flowers are at their best when they are in season - and even better if grown locally and organically.

What is the most romantic flower and why?

I think that it is a very personal choice! Many people would say a rose, but it depends on your personal connection to a flower.

What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?

Use them as thank you gifts, donate to a care home, hang them up and dry them, press them and use them for your thank you cards...the list is endless!
