What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Research! Planning is great but doing some research into the vendors and what they offer will enable you to make the best choices and you will not have to worry about anything on the day.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
A bride and I set up a personalised video of the grooms favourite band that had been secretly recorded for him as a wedding message to them both with a lovely song just for them. He was blown away and it made his day!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Initial contact, arrange a meeting for a chat where I will provisionally quote there and then. They have 3 days to op to book before I free up the date. I like to keep things detailed, personal and professional. I am flexible, I generally work around my clients schedules.
What is the most interesting thing you have put in a bouquet?
Swarovski crystals! Hundreds of individually stitched and wired throughout. It took ages, but it was worth it as it looked incredible. I have also wired sweeties in too.
Is there a flower that has specific symbolism that you would recommend for couples?
That is purely down to the individual bride and their story. I like to find out as much as I can about my couples so that I can incorporate those personal touches as much as possible.
What is the most romantic flower and why?
For me, always a rose!
What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?
Easy! If your jetting off somewhere beautiful. Give them away as gifts to your guests and family members, or perhaps the local care home. I recommend making the most out of the flowers throughout the day and after.
