We were blown away
We had our wedding flowers supplied by Margot Flowers, and can honestly say that we were blown away by the service provided and the flowers themselves. The flowers were just perfect, and even more beautiful than the pinterest boards that I initially sent. You could tell that so much thought and creativity had been put into their design. Lucy was just amazing! Communication was brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. On the day, Lucy just coordinated and worked with the venues and cake suppli

FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

I was given a budget, and told to create some floral designs, no colours in mind, no specifics, just colourful. I think I managed to pull it off - and tried to reflect the couple's relationship in the flowers. Plenty of colour, with mixed textures and a distinct country vibe. This was helpful as the whole wedding was on a farm!

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Natural, fresh, modern, country, colourful

What about your business are you most proud of?

The fact that I have repeat customers who love our style - and come back again for more flowers!

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Take it easy and enjoy the planning as much as you can - its all about you.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

A bride asked me to attach a tiffany pendant that belonged to her great grandmother to her wedding bouquet. It was something old and blue, and she was going to pass it down to her children when they eventually got married.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

A very informal chat about everything floral that they like and don't like. A good chat about the vibe of the wedding, and if they have any ideas about the wedding. I always encourage this in the shop as we have an abundance of flowers and create some sample and designs. I then provide a detailed quotation for the couple, and we take it from there!

What is the most interesting thing you have put in a bouquet?

Lemons!

Is there a flower that has specific symbolism that you would recommend for couples?

Not a specific flower, as all couples have different lives. I would also suggest to have something that means something to them. A recent bride and groom got engaged whilst on holiday in Singapore, so we have decided to incorporate some individual heads of Orchids into their flowers to add a personal touch.

What is the most romantic flower and why?

Norma Jean Roses, the scent is the prettiest, most feminine scent. It works in every wedding in my opinion.

What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?

Its up to you! You could donate your tablecentres to guests so they have some extra memories from the day, or you could donate them to a hospice or nursing home. There are some brilliant flower preserving companies now!
