Let the wild in… Welcome to Foxgloves and Alice, the home of quirky wedding flowers with a touch of the wild. From my Hertfordshire studio, I create contemporary, bohemian arrangements that celebrate the wonderful vibrancy of British flowers. I’m passionate about sourcing beautiful flowers and turning them into colourful, sculptural and fragrant works of art. Using foliage, berries and herbs as well as blooms, grown in the UK whenever possible, I work closely with each of my couples to design a suite of modern, eclectic florals that represent you and your style. I love nothing more than the feeling of bringing the outside indoors – of creating the atmosphere of a secret garden or hidden forest glade in beautiful venues across the UK. I’ve had the pleasure of working in a wide variety of locations, from stunning woodland spaces, to rustic barns and urban warehouse venues – bringing quirky, bohemian floral design to each. There’s no formula for my wedding flowers. Each wedding I work on is completely bespoke, and I design bouquets, buttonholes, flower crowns, table centres and other installations that are totally unique to you. I take on a limited number of weddings a year, ensuring I can devote time to creating and developing a completely individual suite of florals for each one. You won’t find structured, uniform bouquets tied with satin ribbon here. Starting with a relaxed consultation at my studio, we’ll have a chat about the plans for your big day. We’ll look at colours, textures and adornments together to build up a moodboard of seasonal flowers that sum up your style. It’s important for me to get to know your venue, to look at the spaces available and visualize how each area can be transformed with flowers and foliage.
