Natural, Romantic, Wildflowers, Botanical, Sustainable
What about your business are you most proud of?
The variety of flowers grown at our Flower Farm is extensive & surprises many of our visitors. Our wedding couples don't need to know the names, just to love flowers & understand how everything has a natural season. Flowers grown locally, in season are great quality & value. The varieties change with the seasons giving every wedding a unique look. Many varieties (such as our Sweet Peas & Roses) are deliciously scented too. We never import flowers from outside the UK never use toxic floral foam & keep single use plastic to a minimum
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Weekend weddings during the Summer months tend to be booked early, so please don't delay. We take a limited number of weddings on each year to ensure our couples receive the attention & creativity required.

So love the collars we've made for those extra special 'DogMaids' who've attended ceremonies & parties
Describe your typical process with a couple.
First, complete the simple enquiry form on our website. If available on your date, we'll arrange a telephone consultation. You can outline your ideas, colour scheme etc. I'll give an indication of flowers in season & a price guide. If you book me to arrange your flowers, we'll then work on the details.
What is the most interesting thing you have put in a bouquet?
So often the flowers have great meaning for a couple - perhaps from Grannie's garden, a reminder of the place they call home for example. If I can find it & it's in season, I do my best to include a few stems
Is there a flower that has specific symbolism that you would recommend for couples?
Couples often have their own stories associated with a flower - perhaps a memory of Grannies garden, a special day out, a touch of Heather etc.
If it's in season, I'll do my best to include it...
What is the most romantic flower and why?
Could I give a 'Top 10'? That's an impossible question to ask a Flower Farmer!
What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?
Enjoy them! Friends & family can take flowers home, many go to those who couldn't attend in care homes & hospitals. Often flowers are pressed or dried as keepsakes. If preferrred, we can return to the venue & clear the flowers for you. We'll bring them back for composting at the Flower Farm.
