Funk & Bloom are not your traditional wedding florist. We are a floral design and styling studio for maximalists and modern lovers! With a love for colour, unique blooms, and contemporary design you can expect bold and stylish florals. We are inspired by nature, nightlife, and nostalgia - if you're looking for something out of the ordinary, we can deliver! We offer both floristry and wedding styling services across Liverpool, Cheshire and the rest of the UK to reflect your own unique personalities. With a background in wedding coordination and event management, founder Olivia is an expert in transforming your floral and styling visions into reality. From picture-perfect tablescapes to funky floral installations. The process begins with a consultation where you can discuss individual requirements, styles, and budget. Afterward you will receive a bespoke mood board with suggested flower types and colour palette, and a custom floral menu with itemised pricing so you can curate your dream wedding decor! We welcome all couples to get funky with their wedding planning and are fully inclusive. Although based in Liverpool, Funk & Bloom is available for weddings throughout the North West and the UK. For floral orders there is a minimum spend of £750, with no minimum spend on hire items.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

We begin by having a free of charge consultation, either in person or on video call. Here we discuss your individual requirements and design your bespoke, dream floral menu. Afterwards, you will receive a detailed quotation with breakdown of pricing, and bespoke mood board outlining the vibe, colour palette, and example flowers. All items are individually priced, allowing you to pick and choose the wedding flowers of your dreams! Flowers are a luxury product with prices more than doubling in recent years. The cost of flowers vary dependent on the time of year, varieties, and volumes of materials used. We design to maximise your floral budget, using all arrangements to decorate both the ceremony and reception where possible. Additional fees will always be included in initial quotes so there are no hidden costs. This may include the hire of items, delivery outside of the Liverpool area (charged per mile), set up /turnaround costs, and collection of hired items. There are no costs for design changes and wedding postponements / cancellations beyond your control. If you are happy with your quote and want to proceed we require a 20%, non-refundable deposit of your estimated, total balance. This deposit is required within 2 weeks to secure your date in our diary. The amount will then be deducted from your final balance. For large weddings £2000+ we will conduct a sight visit with you before the wedding. This allows us to plan the ultimate floral styling experience for you and your guests. We will finalise your order 10 weeks before your wedding day, with the full payment due 8 weeks before. Once this has happened we will begin to order your flowers and sundries, meaning we are unable to allow design changes or cancellations / refunds after this time. On the morning of your wedding we will deliver your wedding party flowers atleast 2 hours before the ceremony start time. We will then go to your chosen venue to set up your dream floral decor. For larger weddings we will stay at the venue to supervise turnarounds and room changes, ensuring everything is picture perfect and exceeds your expectations!

What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?

We work with 2 fab suppliers who can either press and frame your flowers, or turn into jewellery!
