Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Natural, Contemporary, Realistic,

What about your business are you most proud of?

My reviews…when my couples receive their flowers and show me just how much they love them!

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

To make sure you have a good relationship with your suppliers, they are on the same page as you and they listen to your ideas.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

Memory ribbons…handwritten by a loved one who has passed and attached to the brides bouquet. Such a personal touch.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

After the initial contact we will arrange a consultation…this is either in person, via video or telephone call. I will listen to the couples ideas and vision…we will discuss colours, budget and the venue. If they are happy with what we have discussed then I will put together a quotation in which a 25% deposit is required to secure the booking. A 2nd consultation is needed 2 months prior to the wedding date to finalise flowers etc. Final payment is due 4 weeks before the wedding.

What is the most interesting thing you have put in a bouquet?

Pheasant Feathers…I love creating something a little different!

Is there a flower that has specific symbolism that you would recommend for couples?

In my initial consultation with my couples I will always ask if there is a specific flower that they would like to incorporate. Many will ask for a certain flower which was either a family member’s favourite, a nod to their heritage or a flower that evokes memories from a loved one.

What is the most romantic flower and why?

This can vary and is a personal choice but for me it’s the Rose…a classic and elegant flower that has a timeless quality!

What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?

Keep them! The great thing about using artificial flowers is that they are a forever keepsake of your wonderful day.
