What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
My favourite personal touch seen at a wedding to date is the little heart charms I added to the bride's and her bridesmaid's bouquets, because she was married on Valentine's Day. I did this as a surprise to her, and she was over the moon with this kind thought.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Once a couple have made contact with me, I like to respond ASAP and invite them to a free Wedding Consultation, where we can discuss together all their floral requirements. We organise a time and meeting place to suite. I like to ask the couple to bring with them all their ideas, swatches and photos as well as any other member of the family they may like to include in the consultation. I enjoy listening to ideas, and will note all their floral requirements for a wedding quote to be sent to them, and hopefully they will be happy to proceed with the wedding order for their Big Day.
What is the most interesting thing you have put in a bouquet?
The most interesting thing I have put in a bouquet was a small picture of the bride's fiance's (groom's) mother. This was so the couple could remember her on their Big Day as she had passed away.
Is there a flower that has specific symbolism that you would recommend for couples?
All flowers have specific symbols, and so I allow the brides to choose the flower of their choice if it involves symbolism
What is the most romantic flower and why?
