Fleurs of Litchfield Full Description
Fleurs of Litchfield is a flower delivery, subscription, Weddings and bespoke events service based in Arundel, in the heart of the South Downs. We are the sister company to existing gardening company Litchfield and Fox. We grow most of our subscription flowers on our farm plot, with all green waste collected by us and composted on site. We are passionate about delivering seasonal flowers, package free. All our wedding and events use foam free, sustainable mechanics. With our roots in gardening coupled with our flair for design, our knowledge extends from seed, to bloom, to vase. We can create all aspects of wedding flowers, using foam free and compostable mechanics. From grand church arches, to a delicate corsage. As flower growers we can also offer packages. We offer 5 different styles of wedding that use British seasonal flowers. These are: The White Wedding, The Meadow Wedding, The Fairytale Wedding, The Colourburst Wedding and The Two-Tone Wedding These options work on the basis of florist choice and we base the wedding on colour scheme. We are currently updating our website to demonstrate these options. We can also add specific flowers in to these options if desired.

Personal Message from the Manager

Name of Wedding Contact: Lucie Conoley and Skye Maddox
Fleurs of Litchfield was born from existing gardening company Litchfield and Fox based in West Sussex. A winning combination of horticultural brains with artistic flare. Our fingers are truly green and sparkly! With a good understanding of design, colour and composition, in conjunction with a horticultural background, our floristry style is dynamic and works with the seasons.

FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

A most memorable wedding we did was a beautiful 'Midsummer Nights Dream' Themed wedding. The brief was to create a space that was reflective of the magic of the forest. So we used our trees for hire to place them around the church, using living plants to create the feeling of a forest. I think there's something about using trees inside a venue that creates such an etherial and unique look.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Delicate Etherial

What about your business are you most proud of?

We are most proud of our sustainability practices. We can create an entire wedding using materials that are all reusable and compostable. We are also proud of our gardening background, so we can provide great advise on local sourcing and seasonally led choices.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Using seasonal led choices of flowers saves cost to the florist, and the saving is passed on to the client. Additional you can re-purpose your flowers. So you can use flowers from your ceremony to add to the flowers at your venue.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

A wedding that used a canopy of disco balls above the tables. Very fun!

Describe your typical process with a couple.

After an enquiry we send out a questionnaire and information pack. We would then arrange a consultation to go over ideas. We would then confirm the date and plan a venue visit together. We then finalise the details throughout the run up to the Wedding.

What is the most interesting thing you have put in a bouquet?

Ferns for a very green themed wedding.

Is there a flower that has specific symbolism that you would recommend for couples?

There are too many to choose from at different times of the year, but I would recommend a book called 'The Language of Flowers' by Mandy Kirkby.

What is the most romantic flower and why?

Again there are so many to choose from. A garden rose for it beauty and scent. A scabious for it's delicate beauty. A peony for it's magic.

What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?

You could keep some to press and preserve, or hand them out to guests after the wedding.
