Fleurs en Fleur

Hello, I’m Lisa. Florist, dog lover, dreamer and tea drinker (preferably yorkshire tea) I started on my floristry journey after having an epiphany that flowers were my destiny. I enrolled on a course at Brooksby College and worked in a local florist where I learnt all of the valuable skills I still use today, starting with sweeping the floor and bleaching the buckets! I soon decided that my ultimate dream was to have my own little flower shop. So I left my job and set up Fleurs en Fleur (which translates to Flowers in Bloom) working from home on my Mum and Dad’s kitchen table. Two years later and the search for retail premises began. After many set backs with different properties, I’d almost given up but one day I was sat in traffic on Ashby Square and there was the ‘To Let’ sign outside No 4. On 08 February 2008 the doors to FeF opened. And pretty much always stays opened, except for when it’s really, really cold!
