What is your most memorable wedding?
Every wedding is unique and special to us, however we went all out on a wedding at Brook Farm, with a sunset colour scheme, the whole aisle was covered in potted plants, and unique meadow arrangements creating a sea of locally grown flowers that where then moved to the marquee reception space creating a whole different vibe for the evening. It was the most romantic setting with hundreds of candles, ceiling high trees and candleabras wrapped in trailing foliage.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Whimsical, natural, seasonal, thoughtful, wild.
What about your business are you most proud of?
We’re most proud that we get to work with our amazing florist friends to design the most exciting and bespoke creations. Having a team of knowledgable and reliable people who we have built incredible relationships with over the years is definitely something to be proud of. At the end of the process to receive such lovely feedback from our wonderful couples makes us beyond happy and grateful.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Get the big parts of your day booked so it feels like you have ticked off the main suppliers and then take time to think about the details. We always say to our couples that everything needs to be confirmed 6 weeks prior to your date, so don’t stress the small stuff at first because it can become very overwhelming!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
One of our brides had a book that her late father had left her when she was young and we tied it to her bouquet to hold as she walked down the aisle.
