What is your most memorable wedding?
My most memorable wedding would have to be my own wedding. This is obviously special to me, but planning my own wedding was when my love for floristry and weddings developed. I made all the floral arrangements for my wedding (not something i would recommend if you want a chilled day before), but after this i knew wedding floristry was something I wanted to pursue. I love everything about weddings and can not wait to hear about yours.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Wild, imaginative, luxurious, personal, textured
What about your business are you most proud of?
I would have to say, the personal attention to detail, so that the arrangements really represent you and your vision.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Write down your top 3 priorities for your wedding and keep referring back to this through out the planning process. Pinterest and Instagram are amazing visual aids for planning but they can be super distracting. Sorry here is another from personal experience book important suppliers that you get on with. You will be surprised how much contact you will have with them, i found it made a difference to the planning process but also on the day.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
One of my beautiful brides would like there to be one white rose that is just loosely tied in to her bouquet so that she can place it on a special chair in memory of her dad. That way he is still walking down the aisle with her. I just think this is one of the most beautiful, touching things i have ever heard.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
The best way of getting in touch is through our website. Take a look at our work on our website, Instagram and Pinterest to get inspiration and get excited. We then work together gathering information through a questionnaire, consultation and design process. We work with couples seeking the imaginative, who want to inject personality and sentiment in to their designs so everything we do is bespoke. We don't work from price lists. We then create digital drawings so that you can truly visualise how your day will look. We work from a minimum spend of £4500 which give us a good base to create floral arrangement for the whole of your wedding such as bridal bouquets, buttonholes, ceremony flowers and table arrangements.
What is the most interesting thing you have put in a bouquet?
Parts of the mother of the brides floral crown she wore for her wedding.
What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?
Give them to me to preserve and create a bespoke piece of art for you to keep forever.
