Bud & Bee Full Description
My passion lies in creating natural flowers which reflect the changing English seasons. I draw my inspiration from the English countryside, meadows, heaths, coasts & woodland that fill Suffolk & the surrounding areas. Using beautiful flowers, herbs & foliage, I create unique, stunning, memorable floral designs, working throughout Suffolk, Cambridgeshire & South Norfolk in my home studio based in Woodbridge, East Suffolk. Being a passionate natural gardener, I grow lots of my own scented herbs & foliage as well as annuals which I use in my arrangements & I buy in locally grown British flowers where possible, foraged elements like berries or feather and the best quality imported blooms on occasion. Creating memorable designs is so important to me and one way I like to design is by using lots of scented & fragrant flowers, herbs & foliage that lots of imported flowers lack. The sense of smell is closely linked with memory, probably mores so than any of our other senses. Whether it is a wedding, event or a stunning hand-tied bouquet, make yours one to remember.

FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

My own.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Untamed, personal, seasonal, unique and quirky.

What about your business are you most proud of?

That I promote sustainability and eco friendly practices to ensure my business doesn't impact the environment both close to home and on a global scale.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Be bold. Choose happy. Just be you and do your own thing. Don't be afraid to make bold decisions and express yourself as I will support and embrace your individuality. I will go there with you. You are certainly bonkers but I'll tell you a secret; all the best people are.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

A grandmother's hand embroidered handkerchief adorning a bridal bouquet...or skull details!!

Describe your typical process with a couple.

Most importantly I like to get to know you, so a free consultation at a mutual meeting space is ideal so you can tell me about yourselves as a couple and what you need from me.

What is the most interesting thing you have put in a bouquet?

A lock of hair!

Is there a flower that has specific symbolism that you would recommend for couples?

No, flowers should be personal reflection of you as a couple. Some flowers scent bring back memories so have a think about what flowers mean to YOU.

What is the most romantic flower and why?

Personally, I would say a daisy. For me it represents freedom, childhood and that little bit of wildness because who can tame a daisy??

What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?

That's entirely up to you. Some people have them preserved, some people press them... some have them framed. I quite like the idea of getting the seeds/bulbs and planting my garden with my bouquet flowers and composting the original.
