What about your business are you most proud of?
I'm proud that I learnt the art of floristry many years ago but after having 4 children decided to start my own business when most others would be starting to wind down
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Meet your florist face to face and make sure to connect with them on your flower ideas but most importantly you like them it's an important part of your wedding
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I always go above and beyond what I'm payed for , and give my brides a special memory , providing little extras they don't know about As a surprise
Describe your typical process with a couple.
After initial contact I invite them to my home fir a consultation,and chat for as long as it takes over a cup of tea or coffee . I then set about preparing their quote and sending it to them usually within 3 days
What is the most interesting thing you have put in a bouquet?
A locket with a picture of a special nan , and I love textures especially berries
Is there a flower that has specific symbolism that you would recommend for couples?
I think the most worldly used flower is the rose , mixed with lots of other varieties of flowers and foliage With different shapes and textures
What is the most romantic flower and why?
The rose as it symbolises love ie valentines
What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?
There are all sorts of things you can do , dry them have them made into a picture or put them in resin
