Amamini Flowers Full Description
Having always met you personally at my studio or at your venue and heard from you about your wedding ideas, it is my hope that you will receive a very personal response from me about the flowers I could create for your wedding day. Totally bespoke, beautiful bouquets, buttonholes, church and reception flowers, generously and thoughtfully created. I will respond to you and your ideas with my feeling that following the seasons, results in gorgeous flowers for your wedding day. Using the best flowers possible, either Dutch or British flowers or flowers straight from my own cutting garden. Time is a luxury and your flowers may be the only wedding flowers I will be creating that week. As a studio florist, without shop overheads, I believe I offer great value for the luxury floristry I produce and the time I offer you to create and set up your wedding flowers. I can afford NOT to count every hour or every stem to achieve the best possible outcome. Carefully thought out Eco mechanics and detailed work are core to my business ethos. I deliver flowers free of charge to a wide catchment area from my studio. Set up at your venue is part of the service I offer. I aim to design arrangements that can be repurposed. In my cutting garden I grow scented David Austin roses that can be used for special bridal bouquets when available. David Austin roses don't travel well and cutting direct from my garden, allows these sought after English summer flowers to be used in some Bridal bouquets. Take a look at my instagram page at Amamini_Flowers and see the work I have created and the ethos of my business. Amamini is latin for "you are loved" - I love flowers. And of course weddings and wedding flowers are all about love!

Elisabeth, you are fantastic!
Elisabeth was our florist for our wedding in February 2020 and the flowers couldn't have been more beautiful. Such a talented lady and the attention to detail didn't go unnoticed, we had so many compliments on all of the arrangements but particularly the floral suspension piece. The flowers were chosen perfectly to compliment the time of year, with lots of textures, creating a completely different look to what we've ever seen before at a wedding. Thank you so much Elisabeth, you are fantastic! Natasha & Tom x

Completely magical
My tastes were a little bit out of the ordinary, and Elisabeth was *extremely* patient in working with me to get the design right. Her work was out of this world, just really very special and exactly what we wanted. It was like nothing I've ever seen before, and we're so glad we hired her.

Elisabeth is so talented ...
Elisabeth created stunning arrangements and bouquets for our wedding at the Moonraker in January. Elisabeth is so talented and managed to bring to life my rather limited ideas. I was so pleased at how beautiful the venue looked and how wonderful the bouquets and buttonholes were

Thank you so so much for our wedding flowers! Honestly the best work I have seen! You knew exactly what we wanted and delivered that and more! Your flowers and everything about what you did for us felt so personal and not only were your flowers absolutely stunning you were amazing to work with. Today my mum took my bouquet to be preserved as I never want to loose it. I honestly couldn't thank you enough!

FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

A Italianate style May wedding at Iford Manor, in one of the most beautiful gardens I know. Creating flowers for this very special wedding for a lovely couple was memorable. However, I have worked with many lovely couples and therefore there are many memorable weddings from all different seasons to look back on.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Generous . Seasonal . Natural . Asymmetrical . Thoughtful .

What about your business are you most proud of?

I aim for the best outcome within the budget, and don't count every hour or every stem.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Feel comfortable with your venue and love it. Believe in your suppliers wanting the best outcome for you.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

Giving the flowers to the guests to enjoy after the wedding. Lighting with different styles of light is romantic and magical at any time of year.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

I meet the couple for an informal consultation to get to know about the kind of ideas they have in mind at the venue or my studio. There is a small charge of £20 for this time, returned if a booking is made. If couples wish to engage me as their wedding florist, I ask for a £150 non refundable deposit, that is deducted from the final bill. I then email a detailed quote based on our initial consultation. I will see the venues and often meet the bride again to discuss details if required nearer the time. I generally only take one wedding per week, so focus fully on the wedding in hand. I often create the flowers at my brides venue/home. My cost includes setting up the flowers on the day and collection the following day.

What is the most interesting thing you have put in a bouquet?

A silver Butterfly - Butterflies represent marital happiness - I brought this for my Bride as a surprise - it was seen only by the Bride. I often include personal details and objects in the Brides Bouquets.

Is there a flower that has specific symbolism that you would recommend for couples?

Every flower has symbolism and I love considering this for bridal bouquets and wedding flowers.

What is the most romantic flower and why?

Many flowers are romantic, again the time of year is the greatest consideration. Anything with scent feels romantic; Lily of the Valley in Spring, Peonies and English Roses in summer. I absolutely adore Mock Orange blossom in early summer, I have this in my garden for use in wedding flowers at this time of year. I love Autumn colour and Winter weddings with a lot of light and a natural vibe.

What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?

I try to create flowers that can be enjoyed by the brides family after a wedding, and many flowers I use do have a longer life, however wedding flowers are and should be 'On Point' for the wedding, anything after the wedding is a bonus. Its always possible to save something floral from your wedding, and allow it is dry out and keep.
