Experience
Do you take song requests?
Absolutely! I encourage requests. You can send me a playlist before your wedding, and guests can also make requests on the night. I’ll use my experience to make sure requests fit the atmosphere and keep the dancefloor moving.
Can we choose our own music?
Of course. Your wedding should sound like you. I’ll discuss your favourite genres, must-play songs and any songs or artists you definitely don’t want played. I can also help with suggestions if you’re unsure what to choose.
Can you play our first dance?
Yes. Your first dance is one of the most important moments of the evening, so I’ll make sure your chosen song is ready and played exactly as requested. If you’d like a specific version, edit or mix, just let me know.
How long do you play for?
My standard wedding packages include up to 4–5 hours of DJ performance time, depending on the package you choose. I can also discuss extended hours if you need the party to continue later.
What time do you arrive to setup
Setup time depends on the package and equipment required. Smaller setups can generally be installed relatively quickly, while larger production packages require more time. I’ll always plan this with your venue to ensure everything is ready before your guests need it.
Do you have your on DJ equipment & Lighting?
Yes. I provide professional DJ equipment, sound systems, lighting and the equipment included within your chosen package. Everything is transported, installed, operated and removed by me/my team.
My wedding packages can include professional LED lighting, moving heads, dancefloor lighting, room uplighting and mirror ball effects. Larger packages can also include additional production lighting.
Can you provide music during the ceremony or drinks reception?
Yes. Additional music services can be arranged for ceremonies, drinks receptions and wedding breakfasts. Just let me know what you have planned and I’ll recommend the best setup.
Can you make announcements and introduce the speeches?
Yes. I can provide a wireless microphone and act as your MC throughout the evening if required. I’ll make announcements professionally and keep everything running smoothly without taking over your wedding.
Do you have Public Liability Insurance?
Yes. Appropriate insurance documentation and equipment information can be provided to your venue when required.
Do you travel outside Yorkshire?
Yes. I regularly travel for events and weddings outside my immediate area. Travel requirements and any additional costs can be discussed when you enquire.
