What is your most memorable wedding?
Most people would say their own in the wedding profession. However, I think that is a bit unfair. I would have to say my favourite wedding would be Mr & Mrs Clarke's wedding at Eastwood Hall. This one was particularly memorable as not only was everyone dancing, but in the last song, the Best man proposed to the Maid of Honour in the middle of the dance floor while everyone was slow dancing to Elvis. I've never seen anything like it before!! Definitely one to remember! - Oh, and for those that are wondering, SHE SAID YES! (I'm booked for their wedding next August!)
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Sensational, Creative, UpBeat, Sensible & Reliable.
What about your business are you most proud of?
I had a marriage proposal at one of my events! Aside from that, I am proud of my business as a whole. We are a progressive company providing wedding services in a reliable manner.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
In the words of Frankie Goes to Hollywood - Relax. Don't let wedding planning vibes overcome you both, just take it day by day; and you'll have the best day.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Whilst I love a first dance, my favourite personal touch would have to be the time that we displayed our 4ft illuminated Rustic Love Letters toward the back of the room of a rustic themed wedding. They totally set the tone, and everyone flocked to them for photographs!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Communication is super important. Your wedding DJ is super important and hosts your evening. Once booked in we send a questionnaire to our couples, obtaining all the necessary information we need, and then we forward you our insurance etc for your venue. Around 4-6 weeks beforehand we have a catch up and check the last minute details and access ready for your wedding!
What is your No. 1 top tip for keeping a crowd entertained?
Play the right music at the right time.
Where is the most memorable place you have performed?
Rufford Abbey without a doubt, however, we super can't wait to work at Lake Side.
Have you had any interesting surprises at a wedding?
Err, Yes! See the first question again haha. We've also had our fair share of springing surprises. One of our services is our confetti experience. Quite often a couple will be busy being romantic during their first dance, then all of a sudden pop! and our confetti experience showers them both with beautiful confetti!!
What is your party trick?
You'll need to book me to find out.
