Hi, I'm Lee, and after several years of working in the logistics and sales & marketing industries, I began building my experience and knowledge in photography with my European photography enterprise called CE Photo, where we specialise in action photography and portraiture across hotel resorts. In 2021, during the global pandemic, I started to think about new ways to utilise my photography skills. I had seen many photo booths but had always thought that whilst a lot of fun, they were a little tacky and did not always fit well with the environments in which they were placed. They also could have taken better quality photos as they used low-end photography equipment and poor lighting. I realised I could create something much better that took fantastic pictures and had a unique, classy look. In 2022, Photo Chic became a reality when I designed and built my vintage wooden photo booth.

Photo Chic is a prestigious photo booth company that offers luxurious booth setups using only high-end photographic equipment. Our vintage booth is accompanied by an experienced photographer using a full-frame mirrorless Canon camera with a wide-aperture lens to capture pristine images. The booth also has a studio flashlight and a beauty dish with a diffuser for great lighting. We use dye sublimation printers that produce exceptional-quality dry printouts within seconds of the photos being taken.
Photo Chic booths can cater for venues of all sizes. The booth will arrive flat-packed and can fit through standard-sized doorways. The ideal space for a booth setup is 3 by 3 metres; however, we can reduce it to 2 by 2 metres if space is limited. The accompanying backdrop typically needs a standard room ceiling height of 2.5m.
Not only do we offer this, along with many other filters, but we specialise in the Kardashian glam booth style. Black & white has a timeless feel, making it one of our favourites. These filters can also be flattering and more forgiving to the self-conscious model.
Photo Chic will always provide a well-trained, friendly team member to assist with all bookings from start to finish. They will show you how the booth works and help your guests print and download photos. They will even offer some fun posing tips to encourage engagement in the booth.
Photo Chic will arrive approximately 60-90 mins before the hire starts to set up and begin with test shots. The booth setup typically takes 45 minutes if there are no delays at the venue.
We absolutely do provide fun and bizarre props. This is, of course, optional and comes at no extra charge. They are all individually procured to fit with our vintage booth. We don’t care very much for low-cost, single-use plastics here. As an idea, there may be retro phone receivers, hats, sunglasses, scarves, and many more curiosities to create unique images.
Yes, Photo Chic has public liability insurance cover of £10 million, and our booth is PAT-tested annually in line with all venue standards.
