We are Pawsitive Social Society – the UK’s only wedding entertainment specialists bringing a perfectly trained pack of Pomeranians, French Bulldog puppies, and Pug puppies to your big day. But we’re not just “cute novelty.” Before weddings, we spent years working in care homes and SEN schools, where our dogs learned to be calm, gentle, and intuitive around walkers, wheelchairs, loud noises, and unpredictable movements. That same gentle temperament makes them a dream at weddings – from the quietest ceremony moment to the loudest dance floor.
Why a mix of Poms, Frenchie pups & Pug pups?
Let’s be honest: weddings can have lulls. The photos are done, the bar isn’t open yet, and the kids are getting restless. That’s where we step in. Our multi-breed team provides:
· Living entertainment – No screens, no queues. Just giggles, cuddles, and spontaneous smiles.
· A built‑in icebreaker – Guests who’ve never met will bond over a snorting Frenchie or a wiggly Pug in a bow tie.
· Unforgettable photo moments – Bridal party shots with a lapful of Pom fluff, a Frenchie in a tiny tux, or a Pug as a “flower pup.”
· Calm-down therapy – Nervous bride or groom? Five minutes of puppy cuddles works better than champagne.
What’s included in a wedding booking?
We tailor every visit, but a typical package includes:
· A pre‑wedding consultation – We learn your timeline, venues (indoor/outdoor), and any guest allergies or fears.
· On‑the‑day handling – Two+ experienced handlers stay with the dogs at all times. We manage leashes, water breaks, toilet trips (always cleaned immediately), and rest breaks.
· Flexible appearances – Ceremony escort (ring bearer on four paws), cocktail hour roaming, children’s corner, or just a 30‑minute “pop‑up cuddle station.”
· Themed accessories – Tiny bow ties, floral collars, tutus, or custom “bridal party” bandanas to match your colours.
· Full liability insurance & pet first aid certification – Because safety always comes first.
Why us, not just “someone with a dog”?
Because we’ve done this thousands of times – just in different settings. Our team has worked with elderly residents with dementia, children with autism, and busy care home staff. That means:
· No barking fits – Our Poms are trained to be quiet on cue; Frenchies and Pugs are naturally chill (if a little snorty).
· No jumping – Lap access is invited, never assumed.
· No stress – We read dog body language and remove any pup that needs a rest, so every interaction stays positive.
We also carry public liability insurance, are DBS checked (essential for SEN schools), and follow strict hygiene protocols – including sanitising paws between guest groups if required.
Real couple benefits
“We booked the Poms for ‘something different’ but the Frenchie and Pug puppies stole the show. They parked themselves next to the dessert table, and suddenly every shy guest wanted to join in. Best decision we made.” – Chloe & Sam, married July 2024
For children – A structured, safe way to burn energy. Our handlers run mini “pet and treat” games.
For adults – Pure nostalgia and joy. We often see grandparents light up, remembering a childhood pet.
For you – One less thing to worry about. We arrive, set up, charm everyone, and vanish – leaving only happy memories and zero mess.
Let’s talk logistics
· How many dogs? Usually 6–12 total, which can be mixed between Poms, Frenchie puppies, and Pug puppies (depending on venue size and guest count). More dogs = more cuddle capacity.
· Space needed – A 3m x 3m area is plenty. We can work indoors or outdoors (shade/water provided by us).
· Timing – Typical booking is 1–2 hours. We recommend aligning with cocktail hour or the gap between ceremony and breakfast.
· Allergies – All three breeds are low‑to‑moderate shedders. We ask you to note any severe allergies – we can position the dogs away from dining areas.
