Kun Seng Keng Dragon & Lion Dance UK brings traditional Chinese Lion Dance to weddings and celebrations across the UK.
Our performances combine skilled lion dancers with live traditional percussion to create a memorable, energetic experience for you and your guests. We can tailor the performance around your wedding day, whether that’s a surprise entrance, an Eye-Dotting Ceremony, a Grand Entrance, a playful Drunken Lion segment or time for photos with family and friends.
We offer both one-lion and two-lion performances and work closely with couples and venues to make sure everything fits smoothly into the day.
For us, it’s about more than just the performance — it’s about sharing tradition, bringing people together and creating a moment your guests will remember.

How long is the Lion Dance performance?
Our main Lion Dance performance is usually around 15 minutes, with optional extras such as an Eye-Dotting Ceremony, Grand Entrance, Drunken Lion segment and photo time.
Do you offer one or two lions?
Yes. We offer both one-lion and two-lion packages depending on your venue, budget and the impact you’d like to create.
Is live music included?
Yes. Our performances include live traditional percussion, usually drum and two cymbals. A gong can also be included on request.
Can the Lion Dance be a surprise?
Absolutely. We can stay hidden from your guests until the moment you’d like the lion(s) to appear.
What is the Eye-Dotting Ceremony?
It’s a traditional ceremony where the couple symbolically awakens the lion by dotting its eyes before the performance. We provide everything and guide you through it.
Can the lion lead us into the reception?
Yes. The lion(s) can lead the couple or guests into the reception or performance area as a Grand Entrance.
Can guests take photos with the lions?
Yes. Our packages include up to 20 minutes of photo opportunities with the couple, family and guests.
Do you travel outside London?
Yes. We perform across London and surrounding areas, and can travel further depending on the booking.
Can you adapt the performance for sensory or accessibility needs?
Yes. We’re happy to discuss sensory, accessibility or neurodiversity-related requirements and make reasonable adjustments where possible.
How far in advance should we book?
As early as possible, especially for popular wedding dates and Chinese New Year. We can sometimes accommodate last-minute bookings depending on availability.
