I'm one half of Ivy and Oak Event Hire, well one third if you include Luna our cat but she really doesn't do a lot of the work! My husband Ric and I came up with Ivy and Oak because I love weddings and being creative and he likes wood working so it was a good way to mix them. We try hard to be as sustainable as possible using recycled material when we can to reduce the impact to the environment.

We have our 6 rustic games package which includes bean bag toss, coconut shy, hook a duck, putting, ring toss and tin can alley for £250 for 2026. We have an 8 game package that includes bean bag toss, coconut shy, hook a duck, putting, ring toss and tin can alley PLUS Corn hole and Giant Jenga which is £280 for 2026. We can provide matching rustic decor such as a post box, table plan and wedding signs.

We are a husband and wife team that offers unique games and decor for your wedding, party or event. We are based in Northampton and cover the Northamptonshire area but maybe able to go further afield and are happy to talk through your needs. Our games can be used indoors or outdoors and are all handmade with love. We believe in sustainability and affordability so that everyone can have the day they dream of. We are constantly updating and adding to our stock so we are sure you’ll find something to help you celebrate your special event and keep your guests entertained.

We had such a wonderful experience with Richard and Rachael! They were incredibly easy to work with and super organised from start to finish. Everyone loved playing the handmade games, even on our very wet wedding day! The games fit perfectly with our rustic style wedding and added that extra special touch to our day. We couldn’t recommend them enough!

We hired the lawn games for our wedding at Grendon lakes Everybody loved them including myself! Unfortunately I later found out something was damaged but they were very understanding and reasonable about it Great communication throughout Would definitely recommend them Thank you

We hired 6 games from Ivy and Oak events for our wedding in September. They answered all our questions quickly and were so helpful (all very much appreciated when planning a wedding ☺️) our guests absolutely loved our games during our reception it was a great way to entertain them without them feeling they had to participate but lots of our guests competitive streak came out 😀 we highly recommend!

Great range of games

Great range of games, proved very popular with our guests on our big day at Shuttleworth House in May - especially the giant Jenga! All games were set and ready to go well ahead of time, and Ric+Rach couldn't have been friendlier. The games are suitable for use both indoors and out, so versatile too! Definitely a fun addition to your wedding.
