Grey Goose Archery Full Description
A wedding archery activity can be an exciting and memorable way to fill a ‘gap’ in your wedding programme. Your wedding guests can try their hands at becoming archers between the ceremony and the wedding breakfast. Want your wedding photographs to look a little bit different? A couple of brightly coloured archery butts on the lawn outside your wedding or reception venue can make for an attractive scene. While capturing the bride and groom as they shoot arrows can result in some striking and very original wedding photography. We can even supply traditional English longbows for medieval themed weddings to add to that authentic, historic feel of your big day. Grey Goose Archery and Axes was founded by me, Sean Fox, in 2005 and was initially called Archery for Schools. I ran the business part time alongside my main occupation: being a stay at home father caring for my toddler son. I wanted to give children the opportunity to try archery at school as it is such an inclusive sport. I supplemented my Archery GB coaching qualifications by also becoming a NASP (National Schools in Archery Program) instructor. Even today, there are very few qualified NASP coaches in the UK. By 2009, Archery for Schools became my full-time employment and very soon I was being asked to attend schools all over the UK. We were also contacted by many adults wanting archery experiences and so re-branded to Grey Goose Archery in 2010.
