What is your most memorable wedding?
Errrm my own?! Can I say that?! Although we had every intention of busting out our Charleston hen party routine, we'd all had far too many glasses of prosecco so that went out the window!
What about your business are you most proud of?
Our 5 star ratings on Facebook and Google! Keeping hens happy since 2006 ;-)
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Give yourself plenty of time to plan - It's so much more enjoyable and less stressful that way!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I mean it would be wrong if we didn't say one of our own dance routines? Think a Groom, and his groomsmen, then add a compilation of 'Summer of 69' by Bryan Adams, 'I'd Do Anything for Love' by Meat Loaf, 'You're Gorgeous' by Babybird, 'Everybody Get Up' by Five and 'Jai Ho', plus a surprising amount of rhythm and some epic moves, and you've got an absolute wedding party corker! (Evidence on our YouTube channel!)
Describe your typical process with a couple.
It's all about digging deep to find what really makes our clients tick... That's the only real way to give our best and most personal service. First Dance couples and hen parties alike. Finding a tune that makes them go 'oh my goshhh I love this song', is our key! For first dance couples, we'll work with them to create something completely unique to them, then make sure we've given them enough hours of rehearsal to make sure they're 100% confident in their routine. Added extras like advising the couple to wear the shoes they're going to be wearing on the day, and a super secret discussion with the bride to check on dress considerations before choreographing, always help to make sure things go completely smoothly on the big day! Hen parties are a different concept completely. We just need to know the who, what, where and when, and we'll do the rest!
What is your No. 1 top tip for keeping a crowd entertained?
The all important element of surprise! There's nothing quite like seeing the smiles on the faces of your family and friends when you bust out some moves and an INCREDIBLE routine that they REALLY weren't expecting!
Where is the most memorable place you have performed?
Memorable for the right reasons or the wrong reasons?! We've run first dance tuition and hen parties in just about every kind of venue you can think of from the incredibly impressive mansion houses to gorgeous intimate and cosy back gardens.
Have you had any interesting surprises at a wedding?
Only our own dance routines! (And my mum and dad organised some surprise Singing Waiters for my own wedding - they were definitely a highlight and friends and family still talk about that 4 years later!)
What is your party trick?
Filling the dance floor within minutes... Think of an incredibly romantic dance floor with just the Bride and Groom, and before you know if, the entire wedding party is up there with you, busting out their best moves to some party classics! The best way to get the party started!
